First time on Forum, Be kind!! No change in team= No change in result!!! I believe Robson must go and yes he can tackle but!!!! Also when Burt is back Grothe to back row. Unfortunately we must persevere with Poore but off the bench. The only way we can go from here is up!!!!

2 main problems....

Small problem:

Mortimer/Mateo halves.
Both Keatings out.

Biggest problem:

Restore the players attitudes and mentality on the field.

Welcome!

In my opinion, Robson & KKeating >>>> Mateo & Mortimer.

Agree biggest problem is fixing players mentality 1-17, not who is playing half.

lol, I wonder where all those 'but he's a great tackler' people are.

Here`s one of them. And for the record, I`m getting closer to agreeing with you guys. I still think a lot of you ignore his good points; yesterday he put Oake into a nice hole and another half hole. He put up a couple of good kicks. And of course, he tackled well. He was not the worst Eels player by a long shot. He is not causing the other Eels players to play badly. However, I think his limitations are really starting to show out in a team that is very much under-performing. I still maintain that we could win a premiership with him at half, IF the rest of the team was firing.
At the moment, though, a dynamic and organisational half or five-eight may well go a long way toward getting the rest of the team firing (that is if they stopped dropping the ball and fumbling around).
But if you want to tell me that Kris Keating or Daniel Mortimer is the answer, I`m afraid I`m just going to laugh.

Kris Keating needs to start end of story. Robson has had his chance for a month now and hasnt showed he is the answer. Time to give Kris an opportunity to claim it.

By all means, give him a go. But do you seriously think he`s done anything that would suggest he`s up to it?

I am amazed how so many are ready to dump Robson but stick with Mortimer. Is it simply because he is young, the next big thing etc. Because I personally think that Mortimer has just about been our worst player this year bar none and certainly worse than Robson.

Look I hope that Mortimer comes good and he did display good form last year. But he seems to just playing way too slowly in attack, everything is laboured and at half pace.

I still think it is best to give players who have proven themselves a decent run, but seriously based on current form Mortimer would be first out the door.

In general our team currently seems to lack on the basic that make a good footy team, it seems like we are hoping the magic from last year will click in.
But you can't create quality 2nd phase play when the team is not pushing through, we have no players there in support. This shows where the team is at in the enthusiasm stakes.
Our rush off the line is almost non existent, we move forward about 2m then just seem to wait.
Both in defence and in attack once we are in the tackle we seem to get dominated. It was bizarre today to often watch 3 parra players unable to pull down one stationary shark.

I can't disagree. I've never really been a Mortimer fan, to be brutally honest...

You are correct but nevertheless KK does have one thing Robbo does NOT, potential.

Robson can provide adequate service and get by in a team that is playing well but his lack of vision and organisation is horribly exposed in a team that's struggling. Robson's had 4 full games at half and done sfa so we know he can't help the team in it's current form and until KK has a full game at half we just don't know whether he can or not.

They just seem to think things will come easy and don't think they need to work for it IMO but hoping this sharks loss is the kick up the arse they need

Anderson indicated in the press conference that there would be some tweaks to the side but nothing major.

Need to get Alan Jones back to work some of his magic....
OR to get Ray Price and the team to lecture the players on Pride, Passion and Parramatta...(How about it Terry)

Would hate to think how bad they'd be going without the Alan jones talk.

Who do you bring in when the lower grades are getting walloped?
You need to dance with what you have....or experiment with some kids.
I like look of TK Amosa, Daniel Galati in the NYC....but NRL is a huge jump in standard, and whether they are up to it is another thing...Maybe promotion, at this stage, would cruel their futures.
Raiders have promoted guys like Dugan, Stuart, Croker, Waddell, Fensom, Vidot, Joel Thompson and they are producing the goods for the ACT team.
The old saying...if you are good enough, you are old enough...
In my opinion - The dumping of the Reserve grade competition a couple of seasons a go, HASN'T been a productive one for the NRL....

Alan Jones would be blaming the Labor party for Parramatta's current bad form. He would also probably suggest that Tony Abbott could turn everything around for the team, as Alan sees him as "The Messiah" of everything that Alan considers wrong in this country.
:sarcasm:
