It is only a small thing though it may prove to be a huge thing...they won on golden point!! when was the last time?
A get out of gaol win and in golden point has got to be a confidence booster, just please don't do it again this year...just get in front and lock it down.

"Objective" Def. (of a person or their judgement) not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts.

Does that sound like someone we know?

Didn't think so...

I thought Hutch did OK today. That pass was probably the only blemish on his game. His kicking game was pretty good. He'll learn from today and be better for it next year.

The kid went well, forget about the interception, the best throw a few of them a year.

I love we're playing in the semis! But to couch mediocrity as success is the exact reason why the club will not progress.

And yes, it's possible to make the semis whilst being mediocre.

I love the fact that you are saying "you" are loving us playing finals footy.

Well said.

And who know matey, maybe just maybe we go alright next week. Enjoy the ride.

Mediocrity has to be acceptable when improving gradually. So long as you are making ground/progress in the mediocrity, it should be considered a successful season.

The 3 seasons under Price should be considered genuine mediocrity and even failure. This year though we saw a period of the season where they showed what they are capable of - with a result of the team making the 8.

I believe next years goal should be, apart from winning the premiership, to at the very least easily make the 8 and aim for the top 4. Then give the finals a good shake.

Supporters that suggest that a successful season can only be claimed if you win a premiership are setting themselves up for disappointment more often than not.

Having said that, this season isn't over and we may yet progress further.

Well you certainly get your money's worth with our mob. One moment moaning the loss to the Gold Coast because of the fact that we could have finished higher, but I was still happy that we were smashing the Tigers, then knuckles turning white as each try was scored by the Tigers. Then the missed field goals ! But penalty! We are in the semis. Between that and getting the razors at the gate it was certainly a memorable day. Come on boys the commentators, other teams and the public have written us off. While we have to improve greatly, let's turn up swinging next week.

I'll have to pay that one. Very good. The girls giving out the razors were spectacular and were certainly more exciting than many of the games this year. I went back and got four packets from different girls

I am ashamed of myself
