He's fat, ugly and not too well endowed, and he is only average build.

I've seen enough movies with him in it.

Well it's hard for me to say Mark Rudd.....at the moment im only 78kg...i lost about 10 kg dieting for a while to get me right down..and very lean...at that stage i was only 74kg and could only bench press about 200 pounds, when im at about 85kg probably about 260 pounds....that's 8 reps off though.....i've never really tried just to do the 1 rep and see how much i bench press.

On my arms i do about 30kg eack arm with dumbless, with my lats probably about 95 kg & on the rowing machine about 95kg aswell.

Since i had a knee operation i haven't been able to squat much as one knee is significantly stronger then the over.....before my knee wen't i had tree trunk legs and squatting probably 120-140.....now about 80 kg, i've lost alot of size in my legs.

I've just started going back to the gym after a month off & once i gain more weight i'll be able to lift alot more, time for some creatine :D

Bench Press is a pretty boy lift and means nothing anyway. Don't feel ashamed of a poor BP. Incline Press is a better exercise anyway. More of a pure strength exercise. Harder to cheat.

Squat not bad. I singled 130 kg with a knackered knee before it really went. And my shoulder. And my back. All from one game of touch footy would you believe! Pissed me off though. 350lbs / 160kgs was my goal. Oh well.

Now, the OVERHEAD PRESS is a different kettle of fish. A true strength movement. Not the behind the neck press with a barbell. Always do it too the front otherwise ya shoulders will have a short life. And dont listen to anyone who says that it works your side/rear delts more. Pure B.S.

Big strong shoulders maketh the man. The goal? 200lbs. Yep. Thats right. The number that should be your goal. The number that sorts the men from the non-men. After 200? 250. It IS achievable.

Use the famous Bill Starr method. 5x5. Work up your max on the 5th set. Do it for at least a month then change the sets/reps. 3x5 for warm ups then 5x3 with the same weight. Make all 5 sets with the weight then add weight next w/o. After a month rotate each week to 3x5 5x3 / 3x5 5x2 / 3x5 5x1.

Add Push Presses on another day. No more than 3 reps.

Yep, shoulder strength, PURE shoulder strength is what its all about. How about it Ron? Fancy it?

If ya dig that rountine, trying adding Power Cleans, High Pulls, Snatch High Pulls, Power Snatches, Dealifts and Good Mornings to ya routine!

Mmmmmmm. Turns me on just thinking about my mext work out.

Good Mornings? Probably THE toughest exercise ever. Great for the lower lumber region. Even your hamstrings. Best exercise to improve your Squat.

You obviously know alot about a work out which is always good, as i said in a earlier post it's really hard for me to gage where im at, i've lost alot of weight to lean right up & basically after a work out you can see all my veins throughout my body with each muscle group area clearly defined.

As for the shoulders??.....i'd say before i lost weight i was pushing about 80??......i could have wen't further but i never had some one to spot, if i did then yeah anything can happen.

I agree on flat bench press.....if anything it will give you sausage tits, im a big fan of the incline bench press & also incline flys.

As for my workout??.....im on a program where it is all about fatiguing the muscles...so it doesn't basically have a set plan it's up to you to find a suitable weight as many as you can do then go higher in a time frame, the results are fantastic!!!.....best program ever.

Umm.............OK.

I have a home gym, and I push things with wires on them, in all directions.

Then I have a cup of tea.

Good numbers ?

One thing tho.

I do about 20 to 30 repititions, of each exercise. Nothing scientific, I just followed the instructions that came with the home gym.

Is it really pronounced gime ?

Is it better to put the weights up and do say 8 to 12 repititions.

20-30 reps won't build muscle. 8-12 reps will. Nothing beats free weights though.

Gotta work hard, Twizzle. So hard your eyes cross on the final set.

Oh. Forgot. Muscle is ok. But it's really a pretty boy thang. For me? Pure Strength. And to do that, you need to do a hard core strength rountine. Brutal hard work. But worth it.
