I have studied the draw of the final 6 rounds and came up with my final table below - tossed in some upsets:

Wenty 34
Windsor 34
Mounties 24
Peninsula 30

Hills District 31
East Campbelltown 31
Guildford 22
Asquith 17

Blacktown 17
Auburn 23
Cabra 18
Wests 15
Belrose 14

Who will win it. Bloody big call - Hills, if they can kept their spine and bookend props fit and on the field.

Hey Magpie, has Harlan Alalaatoa been playing for Hills recently?

Very surprising that Blacktown loss in Massey. They've been impressive lately, looking like a side that might trouble the 3 favourites come September.

Stan Waqa has been playing NSW Cup and given that the NSWRL preview states that Waqa is out with a broken hand, it sounds like that is probably the explanation for the absence of Nu Akeripa. The loss of those two leaves a huge hole in the Workers pack.

Today Blacktown lost to Mounties 50-12 but they led 6-4 after 35 minutes and then conceded a try in the corner to trail 6-8. From the next set a dodgy pass gave Mounties another try but Tiger Vatevai turned it into and 8 point try with an infringement on the tryscorer. 6-16 at half time.

Regardless, Blacktown had a strong wind in the 2nd half. Mounties kick off and from the first ruck a Blacktown player in possession concedes a penalty and Mounties score 6-22. From the next set foul play Filimona sent off, Mounties score in the corner and it is now 28-6 so 24 points 5 minutes either side of half time.

Not in the games I've watched.

Might need to given Mounties an additional 2 points in the Shield but I believe they will struggle in the final 5 rounds outside of their bye.

Alalaatoa has been listed for Hills for the last few weeks. He would be a good pick up, he was player of the year for the NSW Cup comp in 2013 and played a game in 1st grade.

Mounties came from behind to win the shield game 36-32 via an intercept try in the final minutes. With Wayne Dargin, Louis Vaoitu, Shannon Chapman and Theo Leato in the backs and Tere Glassie, Rusty Bristow and Fred Tevaga in the forwards, you would think that Mounties Shield team should do it easier than that.

Auburn are leading a 12 man Windsor team 30-16 with 10 minutes to go in RMS. Auburn led 30-28 in the 2nd half in the Shield but went down 44-30

Blacktown have dropped back to 6th place in RMC following Auburn's 34-16 win over Windsor. Asquith will return to 3rd place simply by taking the 2 points from Kingsgrove who have conceded 810 points in 15 games.

I haven't been to a game since round 14, their win over Belrose. Missed Asquith, Pennisula and Campbelltown. I should get to the remaining 5 games.

What position doe he play and what club did he play with in the NSW Cup in 2013?

Always played with the Bulldogs from junior reps until end of last season. He is 27 and plays in the every position in the forwards except hooker.

Could be a good pick up than. There was an islander dude playing in the Belrose game I hadn't seen before but I took he was from Burwood-Concord.

He was as wide as he was tall, played ok but made a load of errors (wayward passes, pushing the pass etc). But if it was his first hit out than there was plenty of room for improvement. Could be handy come finals time.

That sounds like Kennedy Pettybourne from Concord Burwood. Alaalatoa would be more recent. He is not short.

Could be a real add on to their hopefully successful finals campaign.

As said, I think if they can keep Mahoney, McGuiness, Boustani and Hogan fit and on the field they will go deep, especially with Hawkings and Wright up front.

At their last start Asquith beat SS leaders Wenty easily but today Asquith have gone down 52-4 to the bottom placed Belrose.

Just back from the Hills v Blacktown game. Hills 36 - 28. Average game, heap of errors. Hills fullback a hatrick.

Western Suburbs belted Windsor today 44-18. They've been running really hot the last few weeks and hopefully get into the finals.

Kingsgrove got annihilated again, 82-6. The question must be asked again why they remain in the competition when they are belted weekly.

Allatoa must be getting paid some good dollars to play SS.
He would be one of the most experienced NSW Cup players.

I think he played in France this year so would just be filling time before heading back.

Great final 4 games coming up in the Shield comp. 2 points between 8th and last. Every team can still make the semis.
