Now that the North Sydney Bears side has been announced this leaves the following players from the trials and that played in 2016 for them.

Do the RMC/SS sides announce their contracted players at all?

These are the players not named in the 2017 Bears squad that I still can't figure out where they've signed, etc

I imagine it's just the club managers dragging the chain on that possibly. Most of Belrose's lineup is in the NSWRL Live console, but no updates have been made to the teamlist article.

As well as the 8 bears listed in the Hills RMC side, Tom Eisenhuth is playing SS today for Hills and scored 2 tries in the first 20 minutes to give Hills a 12-10 lead over Wenty at half time.

Eisenhuth completed his hat trick and Hills have won SS by 24-16. It appears that Feleti Mateo will not be playing RMC so Eisenhuth is going to back up.

I didnt know you a player could play in both grades. Does this apply the higher grades also?

I believe Mateo was injured in warm up so they had to call someone up

Wenty lost all 3 grades - that would not have happened too often.

Wests belted in the Shield and completely outplayed in the RMC. Definitely missed Mighty Mouse at the back and Craig at hooker. Will be a tough year for them it seems.

Blacktown were not tested in SS today but the club has signed so many players that they had guys like Kurt Aldridge, Takai Moeakiola, Everett Vaurasi, Brandon Luamanu and Braeden Batiste playing Shield despite having 10 on the injured list. They will have a fair bit of success in 2017 if they keep all of these players.

The scorers in Cabra vs Mounties game:

Mounties 20 (Josh Toole, Chad Porter, Rodney Coates tries, Maurice Kennedy 4 goals) beat Cabramatta 10 (Isaac Montgomery 2 tries, Brendan Cox goal).

Montgomery was originally named in the SS side but Brent Anderson did not play. Montgomery's spot in SS was taken by ex Auburn and Group 6 rep, Sione Kaivelata, who should be a useful addition to the Cabra squad.
