Ronald set to pounce on the crumbs

With big Willie now set loose the chooks Sharks and a few others are looking at shedding some cap space by offloading a few players. to make way for big Willie Wonker.

Now is this what Ronald has been waiting for a chance at the crumbs or is it too late and he has already snared a couple of marquee signings Ryan mcgoldrick (spellings not good) or the likes of.

SMH put up a few names that we have been linked with in the past, Harrison and Noddy, although they were talking trade. This could be a chance for the cobra to strike and sneak under the radar.

But you know what I dont think any of the player managers even have Ronalds number and I dont think he has topped his credits up on his mobile he got with a full tank of fuel at seven eleven. Still uses the pay phone down the road at Camden

Hahha. If you didn't laugh you would cry
I'd take Kimmorley or Seymour or Head in heartbeat though
Andrew Scipione might help with a 3rd party sponsorship seeing as the fact Morris wouldn't be in the 7 has led to a dramatic decrease in the murder rate of overlaps

Ronald has just been made aware vodafone prepaid is 10% off if bought at woolies so he is heading to the one at eagle vale for a $29 cap (at $26.10) so he can call player managers

Only kidding Mulli. I know you are not a fan of Morris but he has made improvements throughout the year.

One can just hope the team and he find a way to excel

What were these improvements you speak of ? I thought he started garbage, had a good run for a month or so round the dogs and melbourne game and then went back to playing like a poor man's Lincoln withers after that

His running showed glimpses throughout the season of getting to where we need it to allow Benji and the outside backs to benefit.

A halfback running with 4 man overlaps is not what i wish to see though smeg
Particularly one with no pace, no acceleration and no step

He has pretty good acceleration.

Problem is we need to let Morris be in control of the back line. Benji is incapable and is a better free agent and Farah should be left as a roving agent. Half our problems came from the fact Farah was trying to run the show and it isn't his damn job and he is not very good at it. Let Morris work in the off season with forming plays and combinations and judge his contract mid way through next season

He had all of last off season and sheens was telling us how he was going to be a gun by round 8. He wasn't and he is only being picked because sheens has to justify his own faith in signing him and sheens dropping him would be a tacit admission that `i signed a dud'. This is another example of sheens' ego getting in the way of the team ... much like the Jeffrey situation in Rd 25

We will see.

I said from the start he would take at least a full season to find his feet. So I will stick by my thoughts on that one

To be effective, Morris needs Marshall firing.
Morris without Marshall is like Robin without Batman.

Nah, in '05 Batman kicked The Penguins arse on his own, whilst Robin was still at the Mardi-Gras recovery party.

Smeg Morris is a dud. He is only being picked because sheens has to justify the fact he recruited the clown on a 3 yr deal. If it was picked on form and talent he'd be nowhere near halfback at ANY NRL club

To replace whom ? We have the game's best dummy half so i'd rather him there for 80 mins than a clown like morris. We all saw how good he was at hooker v soufs. As diabolical as he is at halfback

At a pinch he can cover centre, can play 5/8, or go to hooker allowing Farah a short stint in the halves for a bit of variety. Given we are not getting anyone else of note, next year I'd settle for:

6. Moltzen
7. Marshall
14. Morris

If Marshall stays healthy I have no doubt he'll be a very good half-back. Moltzen has potential & could surprise, he'll need time to find his feet in first grade though. This is where giving him limited time & replacing him with Morris & Farah for short stints could pay off.

Morris is no gun & Sheens made a mistake by signing him as our permanent no.7, but that is not to say that he can't now be used in any other capacity.
