Ronald set to pounce on the crumbs

But how often do you need to replace a hooker, centre or 5/8 ? These are positions (at the tigers) only tinkered with at the time of injury - unlike say melb who sometimes shift smith to second receiver. It's a waste of a bench spot but that isn't something sheens is averse to given Rd 25 ...

That's what I'm saying. Bench Moltzen for spell, Farah to second reciever, Morris to hooker. It's Morris or Halatau as the versatile benchie. Halatau has been ordinary for a long time plus Morris is a kicking option (not first option, but an option al the same).

What i would give for someone with a massive Anasta/Monaghan/Lockyer type boot. We really need a big kicker to get us out of trouble on our bad sets. Morris should be nowhere near the 17. He ain't even the 2nd best hooker at the club

Yeah, I agree, I'd rather Flanagan be the utility, to play either half or hooker when needed.

Morris should be playing for Balmain next year, he is NOT a half and never will be.

I've been saying for a long time that we need someone with a big boot, so I agree with you there. How does Moltzen hit them?
On Morris, I think he is the perfect utility on the bench. You can fill the other three spots with big boppers. At this stage I'd start with:

1. Hodgo
2. McDonnell/Gallant (unless someone better miraculously becomes avail)
3. Collis
4. Lawrence
5. Tuiaki
6. Moltzen
7. Marshall
13. Fulton
12. Heighno
11. Teo
10. Gibbs
9. Farah
8. Galloway

14. Morris
15. O'Hara/Payne
16. Harrison
17. Payten

He (Payne) is no better than the 'list' we were apparently happy with yesterday.

He probably paid him atleast 150k ??, why wouldn't you save that 150k and offer it to Mason for this year, with an increase over the following 2 seasons..

I guess thats too much work for old Ronald & Noyce.

And even when you have 35 back rowers, we still feel the need to have other non back rowers playing in the back row. Just in case, heaven help us, 34 back rowers all get injured.

This is getting perverse. Either someone has a fetish, or there is an actual intent to do it the "Bizzaro Way". Recruitment is simply clueless. The only alternate explanation is that management/coaching is on some peculiar mission. Are they attempting to gain kudos for not getting the wooden spoon, despite building a team comprised entirely of 2nd rowers? Is this some sort of new, personal challenge? Is there some dream that a future biography is going to summarize this period: "...the final years saw a daring strategy- nothing short of revolutionizing the game of rugby league. An experiment to determine whether an effective NRL side could be fielded made up entirely of 2nd rowers, or wingers, or centres. It was visionary, and it was innovative."

Ronald is an innovator. With the team crying out for another centre (although this could hav grave repercussions for ronald's geniused offspring's place in first grade) an adequate halfback (given supercoach tom shines signed an utter turd to replace prince) and another winger, Ronald makes an audacious swoop and delivers .....

A second rower

He is like the Canadian mounties our Ronald

Sizzler will be on the phone trying to entice his pamfa mate benji reynolds back to tigertown. The potential in 2008 is unlimited

Driving past camp concord today about miday, while stuck at the red lights I noticed three guys talking in the car park dressed up like player managers or undertakers. Now is their big news about to drop, maybe a paul marquet signing in the winds. Theirs still the whisper of the great firmann and super glue cutler are comming our way. Gee Ronald pulls that one off you will have to que all night for your ST even at top dollar.

Who are we going to snare in the Willie fallout, maybe we could at least get Albert Hoparte back now he has finished his stint on the push bike with the bible and could be a good draw card for a few others of the same faith might even be good for a sponsorship deal with the people from salt lake city--minus 10% of course
