Simmons had a long stint with us then pissed off to blighty for a while

We got Folkes in but under the guise of strength cond.

Do you recall when simmons left, and when he returned?

Simmons left after the 2010 season, returned this year. Boyle was at the club for 2010 and 2011 I believe. Folkes was only here for 2011 wasn't he? He was here when the board decided to give Sheens his last extension. We all htought Folkes being at the club was a succession plan, which would have been brilliant.

Instead, Folkes left, joining the Dragons in 2012 to help Price, post-Bennett.

Boyle left at the end of 2011 and took up a position with the Waratahs or the Brumbies in Union. He is at the Sharks for 2013.

Thanks for that. It'd be nice to get them both back, but I can't see Folkes wanting to leave the Dragons when he has a much better shot of being head coach there. Do you know how long Boyle is contracted to the Sharks for?

Pretty sure Boyle is a contractor, and takes on one year contracts.

Back on topic, with the size of the Macarthur-Campbelltown district, the success of the Balmain juniors and scouting in Country NSW, Qld and NZ Warren M has more than enough on his agenda. We need to secure our young talent so this move is logical as it allows him to concentrate on what is one of the most important functions of the Club - talent identification, retention and recruitment at the junior level.

Ronald does very well with the juniors. A couple of great feathers in his cap were letting woods go to cronulla in 2008ish before woods' old man rang sheens (cronulla were offering 120k at the time when woods was only 17) and who could forget Ronald signing the billy slater of the MacArthur district to a 3 year deal and sending hodgo on a one way ticket to the old dart.

What is disturbing is that some f**k*d up gimps gave this prick the position he held without being held to account for their selection of Ronald.
