Roosters exiting with dignity?

Sure I'm dissapointed we bowed out last night, and had to finish the season on such a low note, but what is there to complain about? Ref was sh*t but was sh*t to both teams. Warriors didn't use underhanded moves or strategies to win.

The way I'm looking at this is that this year was great. Most people predicted we would be 8-12, we came 4th meaning we exceeded most people's expectations. We are a very raw team as a whole and have an extremely inexperienced coach and halfback, 2 of the most important parts of the team. We played so sh*t in so many games yet we still came away with wins and made the top 4. We blooded 3 great rookies in Cherrington, Friend and Jones all of whom have big potential, and signed a few promising youngsters. I say the future is looking quite bright.

I agree.

We've got a young squad and this year can only benefit us in years to come. To be honest I never thought we would make the GF and was happy with just making the finals after 3 years out of them so 4th was an added bonus.

As for the last 2 games, i'm not so much disappointed or upset at dropping out just frustrated knowing how well we can and do play for 40 minutes and then like clockwork we switch off for the second 40. If only we could of played 80 minutes we would of been on fire.

We really didn't deserve to go any further this year on our current form. Our early to mid season form would of been very handy though.

Well, congrats on 3 counts.

Participating in, and exiting the finals gracefully.

Being able to count, unlike the NRL.

I am not ashamed of the Penalty try as two the Warriors tries had doubt in them and the touch judge tried his best to get on camera with some imaginary obstruction calls...

However.. The Warriors should have been the team coming onto the field tired after all their first half defending but went up a couple of gears and played enterprising football when it counted..

It would have been nice to have been around this week but we would have been cannon fodder for Manly, however the Warriors will make it interesting and ensure we all have 2 Semi-finals that League fans can all look forward to.

I don't know why Warriors fans are complaining though. If it wasn't going to be a penalty try it was going to be a 10 minute sin bin with a Roosters possesion 10m out.

Mate, that's what I was hoping for. A man down and we could've scored a couple without the controversy. Anyway our second haves were far too sh1t all season. Hopefully the younger guys are better for the experience.

Agreed atleast they didnt go out whinging. Probably peaked to early in the season and where never really the same after they beat Manly in the last couple of rounds except for a good win against the Dragons.

Piss off OVP you latte sipping f*cktard!!!!

That better? :)

Nope, nice to see after Melbourne's whinge-a-thon, and The Broncos re-enactment of British Soccer fans in Paris.

I'm also a big fan of Freddy. Pity Morley isn't still in your pack instead of those mongs from Canterbury. We had ex Canterbury players - scarred for life once they hit that joint.

Just on that point, wouldn't you love for Mozza to line up against Cam Smith and Melboring!

I'd love to have the big Moz back! It was the saddest day to see him leave. One of my all time favourite players.

Yeah Sass, that was a beauty!

Mozza was great. Most rare species are ie a Pom with a backbone. Like other great rare species - a Storm player who can tackle legally, a Manly player with a mortgage, and a sober Bronco.
