NRL's time-off review
Sportal
The NRL will review its time-off rules in the off-season after just under 20 minutes of Sunday’s Grand Final rematch was lost to goal-kicking.
The New Zealand Warriors eventually won the game against the Sydney Roosters at Aussie Stadium 26-24 thanks to Brent Webb’s conversion of the final try of the match with less than two minutes on the clock.
But on Monday it was revealed that 19 minutes and 15 seconds of the 80-minute match were spent by Roosters kickers Chris Walker and Brad Fittler and Warrior Webb.
Walker took 7 minutes and 28 seconds over his five shots on goal, Fittler took 1 minute and 31 seconds off the clock with his lone shot after coming on as a substitute, and Webb needed 10 minutes and 16 seconds to put up his seven shots.
19 Minutes and 15 Seconds..???
Walkers 5 shots = 7 mins and 28 Seconds.
Fitlers 1 Shot = 1 minute and 31 Seconds.
ROOSTERS 6 Shots = 9 Minutes..
Webb's 7 Shots = 10 minutes 16 Seconds.
So That would mean that the Roosters too more time over each attempt than what Mr Webb Did.
How ridiculous do these Roosters sound when they bith and moan, because they were only given a minute to try and win the game.
Get a Life Ricky. If your going to look at facts, then face up to the truth. The roosters should cop the full brunt of time it takes to kick goals.
What gives me the shits is, what they want they get. Even Chris walker for Nothing.
