EA as a kid I supported the Jets. I used to give my 50c a week pocket money to help save Newtown. But when 1984 came along and there was no Newtown I went for the Roosters solely cause that's where Chicka ended up. But since the Jets came back I have supported both and hoped one day the Roosters would get an arrangement with Newtown where they'd be the one club. So today the two league clubs I love are on the same team but still with there own identities. It's the best of both worlds for me. I am nearly as happy today as I was in Oct 2002.

The oldest club in Australia has a try scoring record held by a player who was paid, trained and signed by another club. Cronulla or Rooster players changing jumpers is just like rebadging a Suzuki Beleno and calling it a Holden Berina.

And to think of the crap STi and WT fans cop from those guys from A View From the Hill, calling us "merged entities" yet they think Newtown and The Roosters are the upholders of everything traditional in rugby league.

I wish I had enough money to buy airtime to put my own opinions forward.
