5. Shannon Hegarty (1999-2004)
6. Brad Fittler (1996-2004)
7. Brett Finch (2003-2006)
8. Jason Cayless (2002-2005)
9. Simon Bonetti (2000-2002)

13. Luke Ricketson (1991-2005)

14. Craig Wing (2000-2007)

17. Peter Cusack (1998-2004) or David Shillington (2005-2008)

Unlucky: Adrian Lam, Michael Crocker, Luke Phillips, Sam Perrett

Why would you ditch Phillips to make room for Hegs :?

Longevity.

Hegarty was outstanding from 2000-2003, and even though he was average in 2004 due to extensive injuries, he still is miles ahead of anyone else we had.

Phillips was good in 2000, solid but unspectacular in 2001, and then very good again in 2002.

Hegarty was better over a longer period individually IMO, although that is not to say that Phillips wasn't an outstanding player.

Mini is a better FB than Phillips. Hegarty is a better winger than Mini.

Mini is a better FB than Phillips. Hegarty is a better winger than Mini.

If Hegarty is a better winger than Mini, i will swim a full lap of Australia with half a bleeding cow strapped to my back to attract the sharks.

I can't believe people are leaving Hegs out of their teams. He was the best centre in the world during his time with you guys.

Hegs was decent at his time with us. Especially his 2003 form if I can remember. Cross is definitely the number one centre for the decade, there are still a few great names around there.

Flannery could be in what, 11 of the positions?

In 2003 Hegs was unstoppable. Watching the grand final that year the Panthers didn't want to know about him despite being in a losing side, breaking tackle after tackle in the last quarter of the game.

f**king hell do you do a daily search on 'Hegarty' 'Hegs' 'Shannon' and 'washed up hack' or something, just so you don't miss any Hegs discussion

Well he deserves recognition for his outstanding contribution to your club. As we all know he is one of the greatest players to play the game.

Yes AM Shaz wasnt too bad a player. Frequently underrated.

Im concerned that his stint with the cows is undermining his confidence.

The fact that they are struggling these days can be partially contributed to their lack of faith in him.

Not all players can earn a spot in no less than three teams team of the decade.

Lets see, maybe Glenn Lazarus, Geoff Gerard, legends of that nature.

Lazo, Gerard, Hegs ( nice ring to it).

Just before we go back on NT mate,

Shaz has played for the Roosters, Souths and North Queensland.

But he is a Queenslander.

I wonder if he had a spell with the Donkeys or the Cane Crushers?
