The 2nd try off pearce's kick to lead 28-6

Im surprise no one has question the roosters try from pearce's 2nd kick

The rooster player had his foot on the sideline as he leaped and caught the ball in mid air before he landed ingoal to score

Under the rules that should have been out on the full, because his foot was last grounded on the sideline

I still think there is some part of the boot touching the line

How so?

His foot is about 1m from the line when he takes off. Not close in any way, shape or form.

The photo they are talkling about and looking at is the shot before he makes his leap.

That's fine, but doing so is absolutely pointless given where your foot is 3 steps prior to leaping makes no difference.

Now Inu's try in 2007 where he puts in a grubber and ran around the outside of the cornerpost and makes a very deliberate lunge with his right foot to touchdown in the field of play before grounding the ball.... That was close.

Yeah, really close call there
, by the touch touch judge reaction that photo was when he was landing not starting the leap, touchie was looking to see if his foot is touching the ground before he catches the ball

Not talking about three steps prior....its the final step before he leaps, his right foot is right up next to the touch line, if he was on it OP's suggestion wouldve been correct....however I believ its not on the line and far from ....
His foot is about 1m from the line when he takes off
... as you suggest. Get a clue.

isnt that footage of the perret try, not BJ's try?

BJ's was in the first half and was much closer to the line then that. i thought hes foot was in, i picked it up in the game and rewound the IQ to have a closer look.
