Huth will be fine, he’s never great but won’t lose us the game.

I’d just use him for the 20 min rest Smith needs in the ball playing role. Henry, Leota and Papali’i can go 50 each and then you’ve got Sorro on the bench as well who can pull a stint in the middle if needed.

Hey guys do we think Yeo will be back next week? I have him in fantasy and SuperCoach trying to work out whether to sell or not. From listening to Ivan presser sounds like to me he’s unlikely next week and it’s probs a round 25 return at the earliest? And when he’s back maybe he might just play about the 60-65mins mark rather than flogging him in lead up to finals………..

So turns out it was a sublaxation but I guess at least it wasn’t worse but they’re generally 2-3 week injuries aren’t they?

Also wish you guys luck for rest of season one things for sure when you guys play the Dogs soon I’ll be cheering you blokes on that’s for sure. Just anyone to win but them please.

If we are winning still over the next few weeks and warriors brisbane lose enough for us to realistically lock in 4 i don't think he will be rushed back.. maybe back for 1 game before finals..

If we start losing that may change..

Sharks won't allow us to make the 4 with ease. Their run home is a breeze so can't lock it in till round 27 imo

I don't know anything about SuperCoach but I don't think Ivan will be rushing Yeo back- however we do play storm next week so you guess is as good as mine.
Not very helpful I know. Good luck with your SuperCoach team!

I'm sure the goal would be back for the Melbourne game next Thursday. But that isn't a huge amount of recovery time. Depends on the severity of the injury.

Better off not showing Melbourne anything. Id rest him a month

The game late last season where Nathan did his shoulder was the ultimate 'wait for someone to pull something from their arse to win'

Neither team tried putting on a play.

Also the game where Toelau stamped his papers for the season.

Raining today and more coming on Friday here at Newcastle.

Newcastle Herald today, Barry Toohey reporting that Jack Cogger and Tyson Gamble, although still under contract for 2026, have been told they can look elsewhere for a longer term deal, as at this stage will not be re-signed after next season with Dylan Brown arriving. 12 Month deal also for Frizelle looks highly likely.

If Schneider is not re-signed, do the Panthers go back in for Cogger for 2 years or pin their hopes on a younger half?

A pointless sideways move if we went back to Cogger imo

If you can cover him this week. Wait a week and see what happens.
