can see a real blockbuster with lots of tackles. each try will be more valuable than the last. be in doubt to the final moments.not many tries in the game. two best defensive teams outside a couple of teams so it should b good

Adam Schubert's selection is straight out of left field. I would have thought Mickey Paea, Steve Meredith or the unlucky Ben Hannant would have got a shot before him. But meh, ive come to trust Ricky's judgment over the years . However i hope its not another Gould selection like Graham Appo at halfback ... oh god that was almost as bad a selection as Jason Hudson at 5/8 :lol:

Easts by 14, the Roosters are finally starting to look like a contending NRL team. They should have the measure of Manly in the final 20 minutes.

Who gives a sh*t. This is a PROFESSIONAL sport. Any club who relies solely on juniors is DOOMED to failure. No club does, if they did they wouldnt exist. I think you must be the only person in NSW who cant see that. So what if a club is 84% juniors ... all its means is they are cheapskates. Methinks its YOU who is the idiot.

Go and read the Soward is a Canberra junior thread in the Roosters forum. Even the Canberra supporters realise Easts do it tough when it comes to young kids, but at least we sign the young kids and develop them into first grade standard. What the hell does your club do ? Put a jumper on their back and call them a junior is all. Then sell them off to the highest bidder. Dont whinge to us, youve got buckleys of winning this argument. Your club is NOT professional, and thats why they are where they are.

im just proud my club relies on a foundation of home grown talent along with a few classy players (who u can understand why we want for outside our junior system with there talent level eg kimmorley , covell )

Six out of Eighteen players listed for Fridays game. Off the top of my head thats about 40%ish. Which equates to nearly half of our top side are Manly juniors.
