Roosters vs Dragons for anzac day?

Vossy just said it on the footy show....What happened to the dragons vs parra game that everyone was talking about??
BUt Anzac Day will fall on a thursday next week, so its a good idea...all the people that finish the march should be offered a seat at the SFS for the game. Im sure it would draw quite well....BEcome quite a tradition if they do it right

Yeah, I heard about this last week. But to be honest, I'll believe it when I see it.
The NRL copped heaps for not having a match on Anzac Day this year so I guess they're trying to plan ahead for 2002.
It's not confirmed that it will be St George and Easts but I think it's fair bet that it will happen and it will be with 2 Sydney teams.

BTW MFC, I think you mean Thusday next year... next week is a bit too soon

Willow, the Roosters V Saints match was announced at an official NRL media conference during the week. It will happen.

I can't remember where I saw it KFC. I agree it will happen.
I also think it's likely to be Saints v Easts. I was just suggesting that things sometimes change over the course of months.
It should be regular and cut into stone. IMO, a tradition of an Anzac Day RL match has the potential to be an important day on the RL calendar... similar to the Boxing Day Cricket Test.
Perhaps Aust and NZ should play a RL Test on Anzac Day. It has been suggested before now.

well its the obvious time for a test between our 2 countries.in 20 years time people will wonder what the hell this ANZAC caper is all about.we should either uphold the traditional clash or create one.
