Good question.

Had some hope for him. Understand hasn't been picked up by anyone. Hard to believe as he looked a reasonable prospect.

By all reports a good kid, great attitude and from Clovelly too so a rare local junior.

Shame.

My brother works with an uncle of his, so I'll try and find out what happened.

Toyota Cup game precedes it on Fox sports, and then first Grade after it on Fox Sports. For those who can't get to the game, you can watch all 3 grades live.

Great win by the NSW Cup boys. Cracker of a match that went right to the wire. That's twice in a fortnight we've beaten the comp leaders. Sitting in the top 4 and beginning to look good.

Watched the Roos get up on the weekend. Was a top win.

Standard was better than I thought it would be too. Hadn't watched a NSW Cup game this year and was pleasantly surprised. Top 4 teams I guess, but still.

A name to possibly keep an eye on...The Ogre's son Nick O'Meley made his first grade debut for Wyong a couple of week back in their 6 all draw against The Entrance. The kid is still only 17 so is obviously impressing to be playing first grade already.

The mighty Roos are now equal first on the ladder, in a 4 way tie with Mounties, Panthers and Warriors. We're sitting in 2nd based on for and against.

In that 1st grade game The Ogre put the boots back on for one last time and got to play alongside his 17yo son Nick O'Meley who is proving to be a talented centre. What a proud moment that must've been for both of them!!

A name to possibly keep an eye on, Nick could come through the feeder club system to the Chooks U/20's very soon.
