Demetriou is totally unknown. Who knows good or hopeless? One thing is certain. Had this been Bellamy or Bennett the entire squad would have played much better. And won most likely. Ilias would have been given a set of simple instructions to ease him into things and to avoid careless errors and panicking. Walker too would have been designated exactly what his role was with a new #7. That was not the case with Demetriou yet we have two ex-halves as assistants: Morris and Ben Hornby. Demetriou had 3-4 months to get this at a much higher level, including several trials. Thus far he has failed and if it continues he will not last.

God that was tiring listening to commentators dribbling on about not having Reynolds! Give Ilias a bloody chance!!! If anything it was our senior players not stepping up last night, Cook was woeful, Cody made errors, Alex and Junior with poor play the balls, Nichols can go to the Dolphins now. It’s time next week our senior players start leading these young guys.

The loss doesn’t bother me one bit, the poor attitude of senior players does.

You never had that problem with reyno around. Souths where a shit team for many decades, then reyno came along and souths became a solid team that was top 4 year after year. Sorry bunnies but its back to the bottem. Reyno brang more than the eye can see and never wanted any credit for anything he did. A loyal club legend that the club turned its back on. What a sad time for the bunnies.. It will be a long long time if ever that player like reyno comes along..

Walker will never have the time and space nor the quantity of opportunities that reyno provided him with. Cody is a reserve grader at best
