Wildcats lost to New Haven 54 - 28.
Wow.
Have the wildcats gone backwards - or have New Haven put together a great team.
If the Wildcats are the same level as last year, New Haven must be the new favourites for the title.

Sounds like Conneticut might not be the place it is all happening this season by the early results.

Is it?
I thought Wildcats and Raiders were the Conneticut clubs.
If they have three clubs they should be ready to set up their own comp with in a few seasons.

I'm sure NH is in CT and the Raiders are in NY state.

Shows what i know about geography.
If it's north of Dora creek or south of Wyee i'm lost - so from now on i'm sticking to questions on the hometowns of michael Ennis, Willie Mason and Mark O'Meley.

Roopy, you were correct at one point. When the Northern Raiders first formed they were based out of New Haven, CT. They were then moved to upstate NY and became the New York Raiders. The Warriors were then started in New Haven.

And the Bulls lost Mains, Hollingsworth, Colletti, Vassey, and the Falcon to retirement. Then Ed Woodbridge did not play do to his wife and him had a healthy baby boy. The Bulls lost alot from last year, and they put up 66 against a Shark team that is always good. The Bulls could want that AMNRL championship back.

Yes I have been busy this off season. With a new job, moving, and semi-retirement, I am sorry I could not keep you guys updated. I was not even at the game, and have not been involved with the Bulls thise season. So I am only telling you with the loss of people like Mains and Hollingworth, that is a major loss for the Bulls. However, they rolled over a good Sharks team.

Although the Bulls lost some seasoned players i heard that made some great pickups in the offseason including a Queensland Cup player, New Haven Warrior, and 2 of the better players from the Fight.

Not a bad trade off

I also heard the heat was in the high 90's (close to 40C)with sickening humidity over the weekend - congrats to the teams that were able to play through it.
