Illias just made a beautiful laces tackle on Kikau. He's not going too bad for his first NRL game in 12 months.
If he's still playing like this in Round 4 he'd be getting the tap for Glover.

Our players - particularly our forwards - aren't as good as theirs. I was more embarrassed when Dogs will flog us at home and away under Hook when at that time they were trash. The ten minutes after the break was not passable though and ultimately the difference.

I think what most are missing are we are a new team in the spine. This is going to take time. I think we've got the makings of a good team and we are brining in the juniors for a change. As that recent article said, we failed during the Hook years, but I think we are on the up now. Let's hope I can survive long enough to see another premiership. I've been holding off getting a sleeve tattoo that included all the premiership years. I say it here now, if we make the finals this year, I'm getting it.

Hunt gave Ilias some tips on how to kick before he left

Illias is definitely the signing I am most dubious over. Despite what you think or feel of Hunt they are still pretty big boots to fill (not in a sense of accomplishments). Of course you have to give Illias a chance but could this Jonah Glover be ready to step in soon?
