Is McCullough expected to play the full 80?

I think he will play close to it. Just in the games where he racks up a massive tackle count or is looking a bit tired I think Ivan will bring him off and play Glenn at hooker for about 10 mins like he was last year at times. Last year McCullough would of gotten over 50 tackles if Ivan didn't give him a 10 min break. I also think this is why Ivan went with Glenn as our utility instead of playing him at centre.

Right... so first you say Dodds played for the Seagulls then you say you don't know if he played:lol::lol:

No No No. What I did was provide information to the best of my knowledge. I was told last year dodds was with wynnum when he didn't appear in nrl or nyc so i assumed that is where he was.

I don't reckon its anywhere near 100%. It depends heavily on how he performs in the first few rounds. If badly then Hoffman will get a crack. Then if Hoffman performs badly, then its...

As an aside, does anyone know what QLD team Hoffman is playing 4 this weekend? I didn't see him in the Reddy line up...

No, but Norman will get a fair crack and depending on how well he goes on Friday will determine how long he remains as the fullback.

If he has a screamer than yes, a decent game then maybe, if poor well..

He was named in an extended bench ... fair dinkum the NQ forward pack must be 10 kgs heavier on average than the Broncos.

Yeh a bit of a worry but you would imagine Henjak has a plan and it would involve his smaller faster men wearing the big cowboys pack down!!

The size of their pack will mean nothing if their big men in Mason, Kaufusi and Manuokafoa play like they did last season...

The first two couldn't have worse seasons really ... both were recovering from knee surgery. If we win tomorrow, and in fact until Hodges returns, it will be on the back of Lockyer/Wallace.

Most of our backline are nobodies..

Both teams have 1 good half and a decent centre.

Most of our backline are proven nobodies. Our biggest problem last year wasn't getting down the other end of the field, and it wasn't our creativity. Our backs just couldn't finish it off. It's not inexperience either - they're all in their mid-twenties.

I really like the fact that Henjak has decided to throw all the youngsters in at once. It's bold, and if it comes off he'll be applauded and the team - ESPECIALLY the youngsters - will gain a lot of confidence from that. Big Pete made the point that its easier to blood youngsters at home games, so hopefully we'll see Geia, Tupou, Thompson and possibly Gallant line up the following week.

Did you graduate from the same school as lockyno.1?

Ty Williams is reportably in the best shape he's been in since 2006.

Michael Bani was one an up and comer for Manly in 2008 before he got injured and Wolfman emerged. From there he struggled with injury and then made a mid-season transfer, which took a fair bit of adjusting for the guy. With a full off-season behind him, I expect him to be a lot better than what he was.

Graham was in line to make his Origin debut at one stage. Has been struggling with injury, seems to be in decent shape now.

Tonga, a former international who struggled with injury. Had a consistent year last season - one that he can certainly build on.

J. Williams - A decent finisher close to the line and reliable at the back.

The only problem is your lack of gamebreakers. Graham used to be that but we'll have to see how he responds after a proper off-season.

To me, it's much better than last year's backline which looked like...

Matt Bowen - Unfit
Ben Farrar - Pretty damn good, but wasted on the wing.
Shannon Hegarty -
Willie Tonga - Decent, still wasn't hitting his straps.
Ty Williams - Unfit

if the cows get a roll on i think our inexperiecned team will have difficulties holding them at bay. I hope the boys do well but it think the cows experience will be a big factor and if JT is allowed to do what he wants the backs could be in for a long night.

i also hope ivan worked on a new defensive structure in the offseason

Apparently that was the main focus of the off season so lets hope we see major changes, for the good.
