Kikau saved us a bunch of times.
Peachey saved us vs Souths.
Mez was better than a bunch of our options.
CHN is better than them too.

We somehow expect better results with weaker rosters every season. Players developing offsets players lost a bit. But at thispoint of we have even one starting player injured i think our roster is pretty average.

Our hookers both are average. We only have 3x quality front rowers and a great starting second row/lock. Quality drops off a cliff after that.

Our back three were all poor. Mansour offers nothing should have been let go last year.
As I said last year Edwards in not in the top 10 fullbacks in the NRL and I was howled down.
Have a look at our signings for this year they are all of NSW Cup standard at best.
Front rower we lack a forward leader and don't have a dummy half in the club.
Both halves were both very poor today.

if you look at the stats and how the game went, Parra should have scored more than 20 points, and 2 of their tries were flukey/lucky, but we were shite and parra deserved the win for effort.

first month of the season is not make or break, but looking to get some form going.

forwards were dominated, but Tamou looked quite good, our pressure seems to be non existant like last year... parra were just constantly hassling us and put us off our game, simple things count.

Agree with that. Which means he needs to develop into a Cronk (and be an intelligent game manager with a good kicking game) or be switched to hooker. It is also why he and Luai should compliment each other.

Cronk didn’t get top money until he developed into the Cronk we know. I mean if Cleary can do that it’d be an excellent outcome, but the issue is giving him the money on potential. I’m very concerned about this aspect of our roster, we have so much riding on it.

Do you honestly think Eels only committed 2x penalty worth tackles?

I mean 50%of the penalties we recievied were the video referee penalising thrm. Our discipline isnt great. But why the f**k arent refs at our home ground penalising both teamsthe sameway?

Eels have gotten the better of the refs at our home ground twice in 3 weeks. We need to find out why refs don't want givd us penalties aswell. Penalties are like 6 to 1 against us at home. Yet we arent 6 times more ill disciplined.
