Not really. You can hardly compare a preliminary final to a round 1 fixture.

The equivalent match (Dogs v Saints) last year drew 33,105.

True, but 50,000 is bizarrely optimistic. Bulldogs have an awful lot of fans too and they made an entirely respectable 33,000.
