I consider anyone who pays their dough to see a game a "real" supporter.
Disagree. The "real" supporters are the ones who turn up when things aren't going so well.

If a bandwagon turns a 13,000 crowd at Cambelltown into a 20,000 crowd at Campbelltown I'm all for it. The only effect bandwagoners have on me is that they make it more enjoyable for me to go to the Football.
I'd rather a comfortable capacity than hanging from the rafters. Thanks to the bandwagon, the hills at DFS are so crowded. You used to be able to spread out, now we're packed in like sardines. And I get sick of hearing "I've always liked the Cowboys" from people I've never heard mention them before.

Smart move by the Tigers to choose the Saints. The Red V membership will be out in droves, keen for revenge over the semi final result and dead keen to cheer their side in what mya be their last serious tilt at the title for a while.

There's the thing.....

Tigers averaged 13k last year and 19k this year, that means a 6k bandwagon.

I have no idea who they are, but I'm glad they came.

And there is absolutely no way of telling a bandwagoner from a diehard in a 20k crowd in Sydney. I see blokes in old Magpies and Balmain jerseys all the time, that just means they own an old Balmain or Magpies jersey, it doesn't automatically mean they're a diehard.

Maybe its different for you because of where you are geographically but there's not much chance of a Wests Tigers supporter knowing too many of the people around them at a home game.

I'd rather be a bit uncomfortable in a 20k crowd than be comfortable in a 10k crowd.

LOL....I saw a LOT of the old :"Twice the action, twice the excitement, ---Wests Tigers"
or similar, T-shirts that they brought out in 2000....used to see them all the time then, was a bit of a nostalgia trip seeing them again.

Learn some English skills and come back.

In all seriousness, there needs to be some sort of recognised level of SPaG on this site. Some other forums I've been on having basic Spelling and Grammar levels that people are expected to adhere to. No reason there can't be here IMO.

The TVAus forums have a spellchecker... but they also restrict the starting of threads in certain sub-forums to a select number of users, to avoid several threads on the same topic being started.

Not saying that LU should look into that (the thread starting one is a bit draconian IMO), but it's interesting nevertheless.

I love your sig mate. The fact you've forgotten it's now ten years since your club has won anything is pretty funny. Confidence in losing? Manly specialised in it in the final rounds of 2005.

As for your English - I sincerely hope you are 18 or under to have such terrible skills.

I agree with you Dodge. But don't get too worked up. We are dealing with a 1st class moron here who I reckon is still in Primary School.

And that has what relevance to the fact you're an illiterate Manly supporter whose team sucked in 2005 and the 8 seasons before that?

Good one, lets turn another thread into a petty argument between supporters.

I agree with you on the spelling and grammar. My point was that alot of threads just turn into opposition fans arguing about things that have been done to death. You say Manly sucks and has done for 8 years, nothing to do with the topic, he says, Bulldogs suck and are the scum of the league, again nothing to do with the topic, then there is 3 pages of 2 people trading petty insults about things that are irrelevant.
