Just on Matty Eiso in the Manly game that 115kg Manly bench prop came off the back fence off a kick off. 9/10 a guy that big with good leg speed hits the line and wins the ruck creating a quick play the ball. Eiso put himself in front of him and stopped the dude cold in his tracks. We were on the ropes during those drop outs and if he won quick play the ball there we'd a good chance to have conceded a try that set. It's a little thing that fans don't see.

I still think if we had those chose between the two Leniu should getting bigger minutes for obvious reason with that said I think I think minutes should be taken off Leota to get him running off the back fence a bit more and making a bigger impact himself in the long term. If we've got an injury we have the flexibility to have Eiso play up to 60 pretty comfortably.

Players often are carrying injuries and straggling to be hit their standards come finals time after a full year of NRL (E.g Tetavno at the backend of last year). I don't mind not giving Leniu not many minutes early in the season to give him his body an easy run compared to other props. But Leniu's so freaking good in the back end of the season play him for as long as possible. Take some minutes off Leoata so Moss has more energy to make more charges off the back fence and do the stuff not in stats that Tamou used to do more like pick up and drag opposition backwards, pick up a bench prop to bring some more impact have Eiso as first backup better than most other team's depth prop if not the best from a reliability/floor week to week pov with Hop'good as second back up and we're really cooking with gas. With that said record breaking great is pretty freaking great as it is.

Eisenhuth has been very good off the bench. The only criticism seems to be about him looking slow and lumbering but that doesnt matter at all. I dont care if he looks like he is walking backwards as long as he is making the metres and tackles and he is definitely doing that well enough to be on our bench. He looked like he walking on the spot chasing that grubber but he still got there first. He is 6'6 he isnt going to have fast feet.

I also noticed that he is popular with the team - see how many players mobbed him when he scored. That is surely a sign that the players respect him.

No doubt he is popular, I think the boys just love seeing any big fella score though it always gets me a bit more excited when one of the props gets over.

On a side note, that celebration blokes falling into the fence and getting crushed, I love their excitement but id hate to see an injury from a try celebration, they went head over heels last week also.

You can find JFH getting smashed worse.
What's your point?
How is that worse? It's by a bigger or equal sized prop at least. Eisenhuth's first play off the bench against our best competition is more indicative of his impact than some first tackle he made against Manly, is my point.

Pointing out that a forward got smashed once is the most useless argument it literally proves f**k all. Every forward gets smashed sometimes, its part of the job.
But that time he made the first tackle of a set really says it all.

He got smashed in the middle of the field by a smaller bloke because he came off the bench at a lower intensity than what the game was being played at, as is indicative of his performances for us.

Bullshit he played well against the storm. He is a good defender and he averages 100m from 10 runs a game. All that highlight is indicative of is that you dont like him.

10 runs a game the opposition are thankful for. The highlight is quite a good example of how unthreatening and simply contained he is. Slow, ambling, send 2 out and get your line set, like a gimme. There's no player in our 17 the opposition would be happier to have the ball.

The only time he's been anything besides the standard plodder that doesn't miss many tackles was when he passed the ball a bit before the line. First two games really. I thought then it made sense why he was here, but that's been put away. That he's so interchangeable but still plays with such low energy is really the most disappointing thing, like he's not aware he's won a golden ticket here.

You have literally just cherry picked the one time he got smashed, it proves nothing.

In reply to someone who wanked on about this one tackle he made, against Manly, as if he's a bottomless pit of quality that the fans just aren't smart enough to recognise.

He's completely unthreatening, he was taking Leniu's minutes and now he's in Leniu's spot, and every other team in the comp would be happy about it.

The comment you replied to was three paragraphs and the guys who posted actually said he still wants Leniu to get more minutes. You are just death riding Huth because he doesnt run fast enough for your liking.

Compare his stats to Leinu's and weaker. Less minutes too for me the doubt is can Leinu do it for longer which we won't find the answer out with 3 props on the bench
