Good to see Kenny take his chance with both hands, still early but looks like me may potentially be our best option at hooker.
RCG gave it his all. If he can maintain that effort and regain some form I will be happy to see him back.
Luai better in the second half but want to see him inject himself a bit more.
Cleary is a better player when Maloney isn't around.
Still a lot that needs to be fixed but probably the first real team effort we have seen all year. Luckily the Eels were very crap tonight but hopefully the win gives the boys some confidence.

It was like watching us play against our last 5 games highlight reel.

Cleary Man of the match.
Good improvement from RCG, Edwards and Mansour.
I liked the look of Kenny and Luai was ok and probably saved the game with that cover tackle.

Kenny did enough to get the start for mine. He has the most effective tackle rate in nsw cup they said so he can tackle, service looked sharp and he brings a bit of energy in defence and will dart from dummy half. That’s better than what either our hookers has been offering.

Edit: we probably can’t start him because he’s not a fg player. Damn.

It was good to see that bit of emotion from them. At least they looked like it means something to them, they haven’t for a while.

Still a long way from passable in attack, and too many boneheaded errors/penalties but the attitude and effort was there at least. Credit to Ivan. We still turd but he's turned the attitude around at least. Some huge efforts in defense, particularly from Edwards and one monster play from Luai at the end.

JFH was great before going off. Cleary had a pretty good game with some massive moments. To'o was awesome. Kenny was very impressive, hard as nails in defense. Whare, Edwards, Sauce, RCG and Luai all worth a positive mention too.

Parra were diabolical.

Yeah that’s what I liked. It was bloody ugly but there was no doubt they were all out giving it all to get the win. Which should just be the minimum standard for this level but we haven’t been doing it this season.

Parr’s are woeful. Is there some sextapes out there because they really looked like us in the second half.

Mansour was good, strongest he’s looked all year. Too looked good for mine also, nothing special but solid, he toughed it out with a sternum injury and still came up with some good runs, did nothing wrong that I can recall.

really like to’o, he’s got good energy and is pretty quick. it’s just his size which lets him down. got no doubt that he’ll be a regular for us soon
