Agreed. With the loss of players before we started and then we lost something like another 3 during the game plus Vaughn getting 10 in the bin, it was a fair effort. Could we have won that? Definitely, but to push it into Golden Point was gutsy af.

We'll be lucky to field a team next week. We've got another 3 or 4 on report I think and I'd say at least 2 of them will spend time on the sidelines. Not to mention we may lose another to HIA. I'd say our season is done given we're struggling to field a quality side at the moment.
I can’t see anyone getting suspended from that game
Fines sufficient they were pure accident and little impact

Yes Mick , that decision cost the Dragons 2 competition points , completely unfathomably .

Just so gutted for he boys , as they had put such a wholehearted effort in tonight yet walked away with nothing . Such as a shame .

To be fair Norman is usually good in that part of the game. Lately he has been playing like a player who knows he is going to face a mighty pay cut. Some of the very casual efforts and dumb short drop outs make him one of the least professional players in the game.

He needs to have a break from the game. He can't be allowed to do this to our jersey any longer.

I'd like to see this backline given a shot. What have we got to lose? (mind you it would be a while off before it could happen)

Its getting so easy for me to nearly predict what's going to happen next with this team ..... Once it went to golden point Knew it was finished ..... Our halves just can't close a game ......

And we started golden point with upper hand and just found a new way to lose it. Makes me wonder why we bother being so invested for the two hours.

Norman is the weak link in the side, how can Griffin not see this?
First of all, gutsy effort from most of the boys tonight considering our lack of troops.
A for effort.
I can’t believe we ran the ball instead of icing the field goal. Norman continues to take the wrong options week in week out and don’t get me started on his goal kicking.
Clune is clearly the better option and the pressure is on Hook to live up to his name and ditch Norman next week. I can’t see it happening though.

I thought we tried hard but made too many simple errors. I also thought we were quite unlucky- the bounce just didn’t go our way. But most of all I think we were absolutely rorted by the officials. So inconsistent, they should have had two send offs, and an extra in the bin. Anyway we still should have won if we just hung onto the ball.

I was out so missed the game. I looked at the scores on my phone and we were ahead 10-6 and I thought you beauty and left it at that and on the way out of the restaurant I saw Norman kick for a penalty goal which I think tied the game but I didnt know that as I was hoping he was adding 2 points to get us further ahead but not so when I see that the Sharks win 13-12. What a bummer and with more concerns with the players on report and injuries/concussions.

I think we tried very hard but that didn't get us home and Josh Hannay wins his first game and its against us wouldn't you know it.

Next week will be even tougher now so we will continue to slide down the ladder so hope that we get some wins when the other players come back but who knows there could be much more out with these new rules it's crazy. We definitely need JDB.

Looking at some of the posts on the Forum I see that our halves had poor games, mainly Norman. He missed 2 conversions which would have been enough for us to win had he kicked them.

It is going to be tough against the Tigers next week.

Feel sorry for the forwards they put us position to take the percentage play and our brains trust come up with that shit. FMD
Norman WTF !!!!
We are going nowhere with him in our side.
Please move him on at the end of the year.
Why wait till the end of the year....we are going nowhere anyhow..just blood someone or put anybody in there.....the game was basically ours when they knocked on right in front of the post...why we chose to run it is totally beyond me.....Norman is far to casual and lazy and we will always struggle whilst hes in the spine....his options are rubbish and goes along with his piss poor attempts at his short goal line drop outs....

It puzzles me how dumb we are to closing out games like that.
I just can't believe it.

Let's be real. The amount of air that went out of the tyres of our club when Bennett left is enormous. Most teams have a certain aura or characteristic that stays with them for up to a decade. We went from chokers to premiers to the pity of the league. Hook has done a fine job so far but I do hope behind the scenes there is something bigger in the board's radar for in a couple years time.

How long is this Kerr 2rf experiment going to last? He's so slow and out of shape and Hook keeps playing him for 80mins. We had them pinned and he lets winger make a break with lazy effort.
