That is a possibility too... My take is that the last minute loss to Souths (along with losing Peats) pretty much killed the vibe of us trying for the slim chane to qualify for the 8.

I think the players and coaching staff have admitted to each other that our 2016 season is now over. Norman was then allegedly in possession of party drugs, Paulo has been consorting with unsavoury types and a release was sought for his welfare, we've apparently been looking to shop Gordon on mid-season etc etc.

The focus on 2017 is now well and truly on, and we'll have minimal on field to spirit left bounce back from getting behind in gams early or late. Our only hope for wins imo is to lead games from start to finish.
