On Barrett. Love watching the dumpster fire of an assistant failing because they were in good structures.

O'Brien is another

I don't want Dogs to fail as I want a strong comp overall but Betcats is making a pretty convincing case against Barrett.

The year Burton, Staines etc won SG Ball. They played the Dogs the core was there to develop. Going for every back on the market doesn't improve them so I just enjoy the stupidity

Only if he replaces Eisenhuth, Leniu, May or Sorensen.

I put on a few multis with Fish, Yeo, Martin, Kikau etc. Mixed between them. I see us winning so easily i feel that i could get one of the long shot bets too.

60 bucks worth spaced out for variety. Withdrew a grand last week. Left the change hoping to get lucky again. Not a winger to be seen in my bets. Forwards mostly. With Nathan and Jarome mixed in.

Usually we name blokes on the extended ranch for a week or two before debuting them so I don’t think we will se anyone this week, that being said the dogs are a good side to do it against.

The first time Barrett left he only went after players that Penrith were not going to retain. That was confirmed by Gus. This time he went after several of our players, Crichton, Burton and Leniu that we know of. I believe that he only got the Dogs job because of his contacts, certainly wouldn't be based upon his coaching records - that's abysmal. I still doubt he will see the year out as coach, let alone his two(?) year contract. Good riddance to him.

I actually think the Dogs would improve by getting rid of Barrett.

Makes the games more fun. I really barely bet outside of our games. Those bets feel like guesses. Betting on our games you kind of have a feeling for where we will excel.

Against Bulldogs the hardest part is the points can come from anywhere so it's really where we happen to pass the ball. I expect we will play through the middle more since it will be easy metres and scoring near posts. But we might not get that far... Could also see our back 3 scoring length of field tries from kick returns where the chase is half assed and not committed. Brian especially could just smash his way through the first defender and from that point on be near impossible to stop. Like how Mansour did in the finals vs Bulldogs in 2016.

Dear god i cant ever remember feeling like we are good for ATLEAST 10 tries in a game.

I know I’m a dick but I kinda hope fitzy is another cause I really enjoy watching the sharks struggle.

Unless Bellamy comes too. He was a poor signing Morris had them overachieving and they signed some of the same level. With no guarantee of players to follow

Haha. I liked Martin at prop. So hopefully he goes to prop. Sorensen starts with Tago on the bench.

who drops for that to happen is the question

Absolutely. They made a massive mistake getting rid of Pay. Whatever else you want to say about him, he had his limited squad putting in week on week. That's always a good sign, especially in a weak squad that isn't winning many games.

So you get rid of a coach doing a decent job, upping the degree of difficulty on a guy who's already achieved next to nothing. Where else would you go but backwards despite strengthening your squad?

The way I see it better to debut now with Cleary and co then next with up to 10 guys out. Smith and Tago I would try to get on the bench.

Drop May and say Spencer to get match fitness in NSW Cup. Then regardless of what happens for Origin you have enough that have played FG

Every player he went after put themselves on the market looking for extra cash though. He had every right to try and recruit them. Why should he handicap himself further?

Respect. We gave him a job twice, let him leave early twice. He could’ve just signed burton and left the rest alone. He would not have that job If not for us.

Would you find that acceptable from your coach if you were a Dogs fan?
