Leinu is a development player. Come June 30 he can play without an exemption.

You'd think Martin to prop for Grant is short term plan
Seriously Martin to prop, Tamou 115kgs, Grant 110kgs, Ellis 106kgs, Martin 96kgs mate with selections like that the question needs to be asked is Franklin a dud

Kikau is only being used as a battering ram so he may as well be in the middle attracting lots of defenders. Should create space out wide

So Cam Murray can play middle in the side running and origin at 90kg but Martin can't same for us? Victor Radley was close to the premiers best forward again smaller than Martin.

Most teams have one small middle in their rotation somewhere

Yeah, his talents are being wasted when used as a battering ram. If Ivan had any tactics he'd develop plays that would exploit Kikau's skills, running different lines, set plays etc. - isn't that Ivan's job?

I reckon Mark would agree. Mark is the perfect blend of intellect & instinct. He was very good at playing stunt men in his junior years also.

I really don’t care what the roosters or rabbits do with there players,
Did you not watch the game on Thursday, Martin played an edge and it was his best game in 1st grade so far, I’d rather he developed that a bit more instead of burning himself out as a battering ram in the middle, we have plenty of players who can play in the middle, Ellis, Hethrington and Leniu and even Fisher-Harris before we even consider using Martin

Kikau
Winterstein
JFH

Should be starting backrow.

Fuimaono will play too to cover Yeo's stuffed shoulder

Kikau needs to be wide to take advantage of his size

Winterstein 98% tackle effeciency given makeshift centres he will stay.

Luai on bench to give Egan a breather.

Leaves only 1 of the 4 middles left

Martin, Winterstein, Yeo would be my starting back row with Yeo in the 13, Kikau to come off the bench as 1st change to take advantage of his size running at tired defenders
Yeo is big enough and seasoned enough to handle the middle, in 1 of the local publications I read that JFH had trained as a front rower during the off season and Yeo had trained at 13, but Kikaus injury in the Souths trial threw that out

I like that when Yeos fit. My only reluctance is Fish is the perfect lock, good runner who bends the line and can hit a hole as well as a tireless and strong defender.

Why move Yeo though? We are on a winning run. I don't see any changes to the backs

Always be improving.

If a better team can be selected you shouldn’t just fall back on the last result. Yeo is not a natural centre, he could easily be exposed against the roosters.

I agree.
We can get away with Yeo against most centres but against a someone like Latrell that is another story.
