Depends who he's up against. A quick guy with footwork (like say Xerri) will expose his lack of lateral movement in a way he wouldn't one man in.

I agree with betcats/hh. I'd rather a more risky selection like Aekins or even Kenny over Yeo. Sure it might not work but there's always going to be value in finding out how a left field selection will go and given we're 3 and 8 I don't see much value in putting a guy who's obviously not going to be a longer term option in the position.

It is a choice that does not solve any problems and will cost us in the long run. Aekins could of at least played wing.

How did McGrady play on the weekend? Eligible to play first grade as of June 30, but did he look like he might have potential for first grade after another month off match fitness?

It's not about turning Aekins into a centre anyway. It's about trying something different in a scenario where we have no great options and our season is virtually over.

Yeo played a number of games at centre in 2018 when Whare was injured (if memory serves me correctly). He didn't let anyone down.

i swear when i watched his debut video last year he said he came as a centre for one year and then in 2018 he played fullback

Yeo played a number of games at centre in 2018 when Whare was injured (if memory serves me correctly). He didn't let anyone down.

He's too big at this stage of his career to start games at centre. Should only ever move there for mid game injuries
