Lol ok mate. You've got so many excuses when you lose. The golden point fiasco was ridiculous so fair point there but you guys were shithouse in the first half. Forget about it and move on to next week, no amount of pissing and moaning will change the result.
What you say is true. We were shit in the first half. Even thought I thought it was the wrong call, I can hack Ashley Taylor's try. Similarly, even though I thought Sam Burgess was interfered with in the play the ball, our goal line defence should have been better in preventing Ryan James from scoring his second.
What really gets me though was the disallowed field goal. Generally speaking I can hack the odd bad decisions and most 50-50s so long as refereeing protocol is followed. However, its when referees start becoming a law unto themselves and violating set procedures, that is when things start becoming frustrating. For instance, in golden point Nathan Brown shouldn't have been penalised for obstruction because it should never have gotten to that stage. Like I said, refereeing protocol dictates that you always play the first infringement and in that instance, it was Titans chasers being offside. The fact that the video referee missed that is absolutely criminal! Add to this the fact that we have been copping shockers like this all season and you can understand why many Souths fans are pissed off.
What I think would help is for Madge to put the refs under the spotlight and cop a tactical 10k fine. I think by doing that the referees and Tony Archer will be mindful about making sure all calls concerning us in games are correct so as not to validate Madge's accusations.
