Note the way Hoffman plays, a large portion of his attack is coming from him at centre. I honestly think that's where his future lies.

Both Aaron Whitchurch and Nick Slyney are playing for Redcliffe. So is Kemp for those hoping for an NRL return.

Signs that Hodges may back up after all?

Perhaps, we will probably use -

1 - Norman
2 - Maranta
3 - Kahu
4 - Reed
5 - Hoffman

If he doesn't back up.

If Hodges plays it will represent a huge turnaround for the coach who put all Origin players in cotton wool last year.

Won't make the 8 and looking at another thrashing this week, I hope to god I'm wrong but can't see us getting up this week, especially at -1 degrees or however cold it will be down there!

They just need to go out there and play hard like a team in 1st place. Likelihood 5%....

Do we think we can win the game? or are we just merely hoping that there isn't a cricket score put on us again?

Terrible performance in the first half. Equally as bad as last week.

Canberra didn't come out to play after half time which was the only reason they didn't put 50 on us.

A f**king disgraceful effort from a disgraceful team.

Well most of the terrible plays and misses come from so called origin stars. and when and if reed learns to pass to unmarked men scores might change. To many missed tackles. Gillet, Thiaday, Parker and Glen. Then everyone kept slipping over should know by know at Canberra cold and wet and ground is soft.
3 McGuire
2 hoffy
1 Parker

Another poor effort, but hopefully leading closer to Griffin/Gee being sacked, 6 from 21.

3) Parker - Another Iron man effort from him, 200+ metres 40+ tackles.
2) Hodges - Looked to be our most dangerous
1) McGuire - Good to see him firing up a bit more, even if it was only McCrone he ran over repeatedly.

The biggest issue for the team - we're playing with no front rowers.

Thaiday just got smashed all night. Did he actually make a tackle break. McGuire was great, but he's a second rower as well.

3. Parker
2. Maguire
1. Hodges

Also, our kicking game as so inconsistent, and our last tackle plays are chaotic. If there's a plan, it looks like no one knows what it is.

4 current QLD Origin players
1 former QLD origin halfback
1 former blues origin halfback
2 Kiwi internationals

= a bottom 4 team (well not quite, F & A keeps us above the others. Equal in points)

What.....the.......hell

Quite pathetic really.

Had a couple of line breaks and there was no support at all! I think that says it all. It's like we don't expect to make a line break so no need to support. That's where players like Billy Slater, Hayne, Dugan are worth their weight in gold. They are ALWAYS backing up, sniffing for the offload.

When will change be made? When the crowd attendance drops below 20k? Losing money seems to be the only way they'll take notice.

That's what happens when you have a 5/8 playing fullback.
