We have had our share of injuries - Capewell, To’o, Edwards, Whare, Staines all for extended periods, and several short term. We have also released/loaned several players - Ellis, Hetherington, both Blore brothers, Cartwright.
But we still can field a team capable of beating anybody.

Parramatta have had next to no injuries Moses , Matterson but next to no others. Teams that have few injuries have a good record in finals. Panthers v Parramatta in GF would be aworesome!!!

Eels should lose to Storm, Souths and us. 28 points might be pushing it for top 4

In that situation the Raiders would have to either win 6 from 7 and make up an almost 100 point F/A differential or win 7 from 7.

Roosters are only on 18 points and have a stack of injuries, I think 24 points might even get you in the top 4. Probably 26, though.

I think the 8 is locked in. Just the positions to sort out. Assuming Knights do the business this week they then have:

Cowboys
Warriors

So assuming Parra lose to Storm and Souths even Knights that currently sit 8th when be a point behind 3rd place

So I think us and Storm are locked in. The other 2 spots still up for grabs

No sure why people think parra will lose to South .They where no that good against the cowboys .The cowboys where in it until a dumb stripping penalty given away by the winger on the last 20 out

Even if the Knights win today Manly could still scrape into 8th, especially if they get Tom back. They have a pretty easy run home.

Manly are hit very hard by injury. Tigers are the only team I think who have a genuine chance of sneaking into the to 8.

Newcastle and Souths draw from now isn't all that rosy with a couple of games I certainly see them losing. And we have to remember the for and against will be a big factor. after round 20.

I personally think the top eight is locked in. No side currently out of the eight are good or fit enough to make a late charge. It’s just a mater of who finishes where.

Tigers have a terrible draw.
Tommy T is out until Round 17 so rules Manly out too

With parra losing this game takes a great twist.Win it would likely mean parra can’t catch us for minor premiers just Melbourne.Given the hard financial times clubs are going through the 100k prize would be most welcome
If Eels drop to 3rd I think finishing second would be a better week 1 of finals for us though. Hopefully they drop to 4th so we get them and the minor premiership
