Game worries me, they have a big pack and someone like Matulino coming off the bench shows its a good pack as well. Hopefully SKiD is on Nielsens side of the field, much more confident if Jenko has to defend Hurrell.

We hold or match their forwards and we'll win well.

We are still flat from that hectic month IMO..

SKDumb the less said the better..

Warriors were sensational tonight though,so i'm not that concerned..

Pearce was playing well untill the game was there to be won, then he paniced..again..& tried to play too fast, when he should've been composed..

$BW was massive coming off last weeks sub par effort..He almost won us the game single handedly..

Tupou has developed a poor habit off trying to tap back bombs instead of catching them..

Mini was solid..

JWH is missed more every week..We looked leaderless at times..

LOD was good again too..

FPN good in patches..

We need to snap out of this rut..

Honestly, we should have won that game tonight. Pretty disappointing night all up tbh.

Stitch up by the refs. SBW nearly won it on his own for us until the genius stepped in

Top 4 us in danger now. It will take a minor miracle to win next week

Morts and Langi in the halves shouldn't be too bad. I am just cringing at the thought of having Maubs and SKD as our centre pairing though...

I have had a chance to sleep on it and re-watch the game and I am even more furious with that spastic SKD. He cost us the game with his geniusation.

Despite not being able to buy a penalty or a decent call and a flat first 20 we really worked our way back into the game and dominated them up the middle between the 20th and 65th minutes. We conceded an unlucky try when Topou padded that ball back but still continued to push their line and maintain sustained pressure.

Finally we cracked them and then enter SKD, he is the worst footballer at our club by some margin. Not only does he bomb that try which would have won us the match but he then does that ridiculous grubber 5 minutes later, he is an absolute nuffy.

In all likelihood we will go into a Monday night game against Manly on the back of 2 losses and in danger of losing our top 4 spot all due to that idiot.

There is a just a complete ineptness to some things we do, particularly last tackle options. Whilst we did manage a few repeat sets in the 2nd half, most of them were 'lucky' and that's probably more than what we have forced in the last 6 weeks but we still came up with zero.

Looks like straight out 'shepherds' are permissible now. No penalties in the 2nd half despite dominating. Haven't won a penalty count since I don't know when.

But in saying all of that we just can't dominate like a top 3 side should & a lot of it is down to Pearce not being able to compose himself.

Do you not understand how the obstruction rule works? The Warriors try was completely legit. How can the ball carrier be a shepherd... it was a joke they even bothered checking it.

And your mob were penalised for f**k all of the infringements you actually committed. They were playing an 8 metre Roosters 10 and a 12 metre Warriors 10 most of the game.

What about the professional foul?

SBW pushed without the ball?

Long range try was definitely a penalty for being offside

Hitman - I do understand how the obstruction rule works. Your quite right, it was not an obstruction in the classic sense, but it was an obstruction nonetheless.

You ask the question, 'how can the ball carrier be a shepherd?' - easily, when the ball carrier runs behind his own player. If you look at what happened again the ball carrier received the ball on the inside of mannering and then ran around the back of him - it's a classic example of a shepherd.

Re penalties, yeah you were royally shafted...pfffft

You've watched the game twice and still blame SKD and not our halves?

Lol @ Hitman82. Sitting behind the Easts bench as always with a perfect view of the defensive line that was always in favour of NZ.

SBW taken off the ball.
Mini tackled off the ball.
Shepard for a try.
Looked like accidental offside for their third.

But yeah you were shafted

The problem with the Roosters is that they have a ton of attacking talent in the likes of SBW, RTS, hard running damaging forwards like Moa, JWH etc but they are lead round by a spine consisting of a terrible, terrible halfback, an old solid defensive fullback and a useless speed bump of a hooker who offers absolutely nothing out of acting half.
