It shows how thread-bare we are in the prop rotation - Josh MacGuire starting. We've come along way from Webke/Civ.

Taylor playing as if he's the weight of Preston's Campbell hasn't helped, and I was hoping Sweeney could bring his Queensland Cup form into NRL ... hasn't happened.

Wapau is crap he shouldn;t be in the team.. Clinton is needed in this match yet he is sidelined because he wanted to get his tip wet.

We have Tony I've never liked the Broncos Archer :?

You watch, he'll penalise Brisbane for every little thing around the ruck.

I know what you mean but McGuire has played well for us in each game and was making good metres each hit up last week in a forward pack that was dominated. He deserves it ahead of all of our other props too.

A healthy slice of humble pie coming your way. I predict Palmer to play a blinder or two before season's end.

Palmer has shown a lot of potential since joining Redcliffe but he's been subdued with injury through out 09. I watched him play for the Dolphins a few weeks ago and he appeared to be struggling so hopefully his return means that he's addressed his problems and can provide some of the spark he showed the Dolphins last season. At his best, Wapau is a game breaker.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch young locky. Once Wapau finds some form I believe he could be a huge asset off the bench.

Speaking of out of form players, you criticise Wapau yet praise Setu...care to explain locky?

Where have I praised Setu, apart from saying he is versatile. If anything I have been annoyed with him as well, in fact I have been annoyed with ou whole pack this season, not to mention our useless as tits on a bull hooker!

The thing is, Setu isn't versatile. He can only play in the backrow. McGuire on the other hand can play both front and back row making him the more versatile player.

I believe our forward pack is quite competant despite struggling with consistensy and leadership. The only weak link I believe is our hooking position which has been rendered useless by the talent of Gorrell, expired form of Marsh and inexperience of McCullough. There's no doubt in my mind though that McCullough will blossom into a represenative hooker, we just need to be patient and watch him develop in a position he's only been playing for a year.

What we need is some genetic engineering to create Aaron P. J. McCullough ... the consistency of Gorrell, the experience and tackling of Marsh and the youth enthusiasm/kicking game of McCullough.
