At least this year they're letting him get to 100%

Watching origin replay and they said Cleary covered the most distance out of all players. Wonder how fatigued he is.

The day's of Peter Wallace ever being 100% fully fit are long gone but yes the club are trying to manage him as best they can to get him through 2018.

As for Nathan Cleary I guess we'll find out of Friday night how he has recovered from his origin debut.

Well yeah because that's when the team is named.

I think all four boys will back up and play. Bumps & bruises but no injuries to speak of so no reason why they shouldn't be out there. The Raiders are always tough to beat at home and their season is on line. They will be desperate for the two points. I would expect Merrin & Tamou along with all our forward pack should be up for the game and if we are going to win they it will almost certainly be on the back of our forwards. A parochial home crowd will also ensure the Raiders get more than there fair share of the 50-50 calls so we will have to deal with that as well. Anyone's game this one.

RCG needs to stop turning his back into the defence. He looks like Woods and it worries me.

I know I'll probably get crucified for saying it, but in my opinion RCG needs to add another string to his bow.

I get people love the aggression and everything but I honestly think Tamou & Merrin could and would do equally as good a job.

Maybe it's just me but a front rower who hit's the line, bend's the line and delivers some second phase play with an off load or two during a game offer's so much more threat.

Lol,Maybe Reg tried to tackle that guy that was lifting his knees. Merkin got charged for the one on Cook. There was one on Cleary that they missed too. Blatant as.

Edit- Chambers (fkn grub)

He did that more than normal last night, could he be carrying some type of injury or is it his way to get post tackle meters and/or offload?
It was nothing like RCG against Dragons who literally ran full pace front on into the line from a kick off. Where did his kamikaze runs go?

lm not a fan of backing into the line either. It's a soft way to make metres at the expense of quick play the balls and momentum. Only makes sense if youre going for the offload which he didn't.

I expected him to lift for that game. He wasnt bad. But it's still nowhere near RCG that repped Australia last year. His defence though is nice with his aggression. He doesnt concede many metres after contact in most tackles. If any. Cooper certainly didnt get any.

luai, aekins and martin have been omitted from the updated lineup, so one half at least (probably cleary) will back up

It looks like rain down there tonight. Will that suit us?
If the Raiders have an advantage on us, it is out wide with Cotric. If rain means the game is played in the middle third, we've got it all over them. Their big forwards will get tired. Hopefully.

It'll be interesting since they are physically bigger than us. Our ability to play a good 80 has to be a big thing in our favour as they'll fatigue.
