Penrith won 28-26 today. Excellent performance against the top team considering the boys had a few key players out. Junior Tia Kilifi was devastating again. Lachlan Coote was also brilliant as was Jamie Theoharous and Joel Orton.

Matthew Wright 17 year old kid who has signed with the Sharks. Scored a hat-trick for NSW 18's before Origin 2.

Who was injured for the Dragons? It seemed most of your gun players were on the field.

Thought so He is quite a talent Do you know who his manager is by any chance

Forward stocks are low atm Jake Marketo Lachlan Gowland Wes Suckley Clifford Morris would have been in the team

Then Mundine was injured for much of the game

Luke Muttdon and Keiran McNamara have not played at all yet and we have not played many of the best under 18 players

Surprising how competitive they were Penrith are the class of the competition

Could be a few losses coming

No idea who Wright's manager is sorry.

I thought Marketo played last night? Also who would you drop for those players to come in. Hancock,Merrin,Hudson,Scrieber etc have all been good for you. They were all there last night.

Penrith used their 1st 18's player this year in Wright and he will probably be our last. Don't know how long Grant,Iosefa and Graham will be in First Grade for, but the 20's should get Paulo back in a couple of weeks.

Marketo didnt play Whare had to play in the backrow and he hasnt played there for two years back in Harold Matthews

Schreiber has not played well at all He was better last night Gowland is out for the year

In the backs Kyle Stanley is out for the year and Travis Roche is playing injured

The team you wont see

1 Kyle Stanley
2 Joe Vickery
3 Travis Roche
4 Dean Whare
5 Kane Linnett
6 Beau Henry
7 John Kennedy
8 Thomas Hancock
9 Daniel Fepuleai
10 Trent Merrin
11 Jake Marketo
12 Luke Muttdon
13 Matthew Mundine

14 Rory O'Brien
15 Wes Suckley
16 Lachlan Gowland
17 Brad Hudson

Good isnt enough to beat Penrith Their full strength team would still have more representative players Dragons would need Lagi Setu and Chase Stanley and everyone else that is out to beat Penrith at full strength

Penrith can afford not to play some players up as they have more depth than anyone

A player in the wrong position underdone or absent makes a bigger difference in the Dragons

Graham Coote are under 18 players but they are above that level and I know you have Waddell and others missing

No one can compete with Penriths base

IMO the comp is still wide open. Parra still have the potential to come good,Canberra is an awesome team, St George and the Dogs are both capable of winning it also.

Only because of injured players and players moving up to first grade

Will Coote debut this week

Coote has been training with the First Grade squad for a few weeks now so he is definately knocking on the door. However, i think he might go with Sammut at Fullback.

The next Penrith debutant IMO has to be Junior Tia Kilifi. Missed most of last year's Flegg season with a leg injury, and has been absolutely outstanding this year.

Or Brad Tighe

That ball by Junior was better than Mateo to Hindmarsh

Another win for the Cowboys!!!
Cowboys 14
Melbourne 10
Thank f**k - the Knights boys can take those dunces hats off now and come out of the corner.
Good to see the Cowboys coming good - I know they thought they couldn't put a side together and to see they have grown into a side that can win now is a fantastic effort.

Barba with 4 tries for the Dogs, surely he must be close to FG

No way man. I reckon leave our NYC team where they are, I wont have anyone to cheer for otherwise.

Barba is going much better than he started (as expected). He is developing a nice passing and kicking game...very pleasing!!
