$BW needs to spend a bit more time at 2nd reciever on that performance..That reverse flick he threw to Sheck for SKD's try was pure genius..I doubt anyone else in the comp could throw that with the attention he had..Blown away by his game tonight..

Even poor old whipping boy SKD stood up with his best game of the year..He was either error free,or close to it..and took some incredibly tough hit ups..plus 2 meat pies..Amazing form turn around for him..

Sheck is the future..

I have a man crush on Boyd Cordner as well as JWH now..Boyd need a nick name..he has got a chin like Roger Ramjet,so i'll throw that out there..

I've got adrenaline & beer coursing through my veins,& i'm as pumped as i've been all year..

Just want to say I'm really proud of the boys. I've been hard on SKD so credit where credit is due. Can't think of an error of any kind, made yards and two tries. Hats off to you sir!
Cords, Sonny, Sam, Morts, Roger and wreking ball - kudos. The team can build their season on a game like this. Loads of character and al. Napa, great prospect too. I'm gushing now

I've read on LU things like "oh but he has SBW and Jennings etc... it's easy for him" That's bullshit. If you listen to what he says he's very switched on about his plan, where he wants the team to go, what he wants to achieve and how to do it.

When we lost to Melbourne he said something like 'they've been together for 4 or 5 years, we've been together for a few months' He knows we are a work in progress and a long way off matching them consistently.

When Freddy said "How do you fix up your defence" he mentioned working on the teams desire. Defence is about attitude and tonight they showed that scrambling, extra effort DESIRE to their defence that has won us games all year. We cracked towards the end and held on but they were fantastic all night.

Robbo is working his way in to the mind of each player and getting them to work for themselves and each other. The pre season is where the physical stuff is done, during the year its about working on the mental side.

I really enjoy that each loss is a lesson to be learned. Not that PR "we'll learn from our mistakes" crap Brian Smith had, a real lesson that can only be taught the hard way.

FYI we have not lost back to back all season ;-) Bounce back mentality.

Mini hasn't received much of a mention but I thought last night was his strongest effort of the year.

He did throw one of his specials to poor Sheck, but apart from that the work he did With the ball was very impressive. Made the tough runs as always but was extra hard to put down last night.

Special mention of his cover to smash brown when they looked like scoring in the far corner in the 2nd half.

Apparently this was only the 3rd time in the last 25 years that we beat the dogs twice in a season. I definitely remember it happening in 2008 under eerily similar circumstances (a flogging 1st up with their ex star player followed by an origin depleted win). I can’t think of the 3rd time off the top of my head so I am assuming it is close to that 25 year mark. Does anyone know or remember when it was?

Well there you go so in reality it is 3 times in 9 years or 10 years if you want a round number. I can only assume the 4th time must have been 26 years ago.
