Gower was a great player, most which was spent playing half back. One of our toughest ever players pound for pound. Played a lot of games over a prolonged period time with a chronic sternum problem. As anyone will tell you playing with a serious sternum injury requires courage & guts (and pain killing injections off course).

I loved watching Craig Gower you knew exactly what to expect. Grit, single minded will to win. courage, skill, great leadership and obvious pride in the jumper. What a player, local juniors don't come any better than C Gower!!

Funny that Naden still gets named in the 21 despite Ivan apparently being off him.....some of you read to much into things.

No result through or before the Origin period has any bearing on a teams premiership chances. Unless they concede 50.

Be interesting to see what effect a couple of losses has had on the team though. A lot of frauds have been found out. But it just gives us longer to fix our issues that Cleary, Luai and Yeo were able to hide.

I agree. I always like to win but the round 21 clash vs the Roosters will have more bearing than this game.

Drop May, Kenny, Sorensen and Naden, Spencer and J’maine on the bench to replace Sorensen and I’ll be a happy Panthers supporter

Tago on bench again brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm. I'm assuming Spencer is playing Reggies to get some miles into his legs.

Happy to see May and Momirovski dropped. Starting side looks much better. Happy to see Tago and Kenny on bench but its not a very intimidating bench.

Kikau in fixes it a bit. But we definitely need another quality forward and for Leniu to find form. Should be good to do a job on a depleted Roosters side. But not sure we can match Storm at their best.

No real surprises I guess.

Kenny for May a little surprising. Not sure he deserved to be a scapegoat for our two losses but Kenny is always good value around the middle with his defence.

It would not surprise me if Ivan does a sneaky trick and reinstates May. I hope that I'm wrong though.

Spencer has been out of form so it would seem, but I’d still have him in the 17 in front of Scott Sorensen. Just gives us more go forward thru the middle.

He has been sticking for the most part with the top 17 named, don’t see why this week will be any different.

I don’t think any mind games would worry Trent Robinson too much.
