There was a post on one of the Facebook dragons page where someone posted that we have choked once more.
Must have posted it at the 70 minute mark.
There was hundreds of posts calling for his head and be banned from the site.
That happened in here too. Someone posted how disappointed they were which was about 10 minutes before the end of the game. Thread was either deleted or merged. Some people just thrive on misery.

Sitting pretty on 26 points after 16. Glad to see you lads are starting to enjoy the moment. Been a good year so far and I can't see much changing no matter how much hate there is for Mary :)
Some of us have been enjoying the moment for a while now.
We’ve got you guys at Kogarah in a couple weeks then again at Leichhardt 5 weeks later.
I was hoping for a good run in both games but Moses Mbye and Farah would have to strengthen you guys. It’ll be interesting to see how they go.

Was listening to 2CH radio just after midday when the old DJ ( don't know the mans name ) said how he left the station last night downhearted that the Dragons looked as if they had lost the match . By the time he had jumped into bed and turned the radio on to hear the final score was shocked to find that his beloved Dragons had won . The wonders of modern technology !

Define irony:

Us scoring 3 tries from kicks last night to win the game.

Yeah Hunt's & Graham's influence on tactics and general confidence must be starting to rub off & loosen the old shackles. This long turnaround has come at the right time for sure - hope Friz, JDB & Benny find full fitness ASAP.

Upon reflection the most positive thing out of that game (besides the win) was Hunt’s guts. That little nugget has had a week from hell, and then had a poor game at best. However, where a lot of halves would retreat into their shell and either stop trying or just cat it on the wing (cough Ash Taylor cough), he kept putting his body on the line in defence, engaging the line in attack and hammering the Eels’ defensive line and he f**king pulled it out of his arse. I couldn’t do that at all, let alone after being publicly hammered in the media all week and having former Maroon players calling for you to be axed. He must have balls that would make George Burgess turn away in shame.

As I've said, this guy'll win us a premiership with his gifts, guts and all round presence.

Yep, sure the criticism of "rocks and diamonds" is sometimes warranted, but he keeps going, a lot of other halves, after having the game he was having and after SOO would have gone missing, it says a lot about him that he stepped up and made the crucial play.

And put Sims thru the gap the play before Dufty's try.

Also, Josh Reynolds may be back for us, which is good, but not Benji , which is bad.

We need the points more than you, so do you think, if I asked really nice, that Mary would rest a few origin stars for us? We could sure use a break right now.

Also, I'd like to know how the Dragons have managed to avoid injuries so well this season. Your clubs definitely doing something right.

Is benji gone for the year? I missed that news. Massive shame if that's the case, I thought he had really matured since he came back to you guys, and had grown into the leadership role that he always seemed destined for but never quite got there.

Not for the year I don't think mate, 3 to 4 more weeks last time checked. So by the time he gets back our season may be over.

He was great for the first 5 or 6 weeks, not quite as lively in his last few, maybe the break will do him good!

It sucks we have to play you mean pack of mongrels twice in the next month or two, heaven help us lol

The score is irrespective, they played shit.

Like committing a crime and not getting caught.

They still did the crime.

Basking in the outcome rather than looking how they actually performed.... is Maryesque.

One problem I think people are having with your reaction to this game is you're saying we are doing things we aren't.

Nobody is denying we played pretty badly for a lot of that game. The fact is, in spite of that, we beat a team who played excellently for most of the game. To quote me the ladder positions is to miss the point. Parra played like a great team until we broke through them and they collapsed.

Top teams are allowed to play shit. And obviously, we don't want to see them play like that every week. But they did this week, under all the adversity of the conditions, exhaustion and the backing up, and still won.

I think if you go back through most premier teams, they all game games where they played quite below average. Even our fellow Top 4 teams have played this way.
