Every forum requires a harbinger of doom and gloom.

Consider this:

1. a short turn around.

2. wet conditions which won't aid fatigued Origin players.

3. Parra has been a bogey side for as long as I care to remember.

4. Saints haven't put in a consistent, 80 minutes display since the Melbourne game eons ago

And finally, (perhaps most importantly) the rain has prevented me from wearing my lucky pizza socks tonight.

Just don't feel the vibe this evening. Sorry, I think the Dragons are stuffed.

The day you say I think dragons will win is the day I get very very worried.

Parra will be fresh, but we have a few that will be chomping at the bit as well. Sims, Aitken, McInnes all have eyes on SOO with points to prove. Then there’s Duffman, Mannman, Nighty, Latimore, Host and Luciano.

FMD we have a good squad, especially when we throw in a few Reps as well.

Dragons by heaps is my revised tip.

Minor premiership, here we come.

:notes: oh lord I wannnnna be in that number :notes:

I think we have a problem in so far as the youngsters coming through are not playing to a standard that demands first grade selection. We have youngsters with promise who have not as yet realised their potential. Either we have the wrong players or they are not being developed properly.

I would have thought the likes of Kerr, Lawrie, Host, Sele, Lomax and Herbert would be demanding first grade selection by now.

I see this in a couple of ways:
-The club obviously has confidence in signing these players to contracts so there is an inherent belief in their ability. There maybe a couple that don't fit(Field springs to my mind)but I think on the whole they have shown enough talent to be next in line with us.
- The players must be demanding selection because they are getting a shot in FG. The problem is a cameo of 10 minutes doesn't do much to aid development/progression in preparation for games that lie ahead.

By the way, welcome back. I hope you are well on your way to recovery.

I think the thing holding our juniors back is the coaching staff. To have just one player this year either playing or on the bench consistently reflects poorly on the coaching staff.
Saints to win in a close one.

At the game. Plenty of room to put my feet up but feeling a bit lonely.

Where are you blokes?
