I agree. But RCG is better than Leota.

Weve gotten good guys back. But only to replace good guys. It's bittersweet. We dhould be stronger sdding 2x quality players but we arent as we lost 2 aswell.

I take your point and agree. We don't have a net benifit.

The 10 players named as interchange players and on the extended bench are all aged 22 or younger.

Great to see the depth of young talent but at the same time it would have been great to have an old hard head such as Sam McKendry or Tim Browne around in these tough times.

Big Sam would have been handy right now.

This is probably an ideal game for Ellis and Hethrington to deliver on there potential given they are likely to get good minutes in the game.

Hopefully a Tamou fires up after being given the chance to start.

Our last start was terrible the whole side needs to be much better, no excuses this week.

Sea Eagle run on side is a relatively strong looking side on paper but there bench is a little underwhelming.

Former international Panthers junior Matthew Wright closing in on 150 NRL games after stints with Cronulla, Nth Qld and now the Sea Eagles. Seems like only yesterday the Sharks stole him from under our noses, our fans were blowing up at the time given he was supposed to be the next big thing for us. He's done well given his modest playing talents but his lack of speed has meant he has been just an average player at the end of the day..

Don’t know if agree with that.

RCG has been good but not great for us this year. Tamou has looked good of late & Leota will give us some decent punch on the bench. Kikau on the other hand has been our main attacking weapon & Gives our outside backs so much more space & our attack some shape. I don’t think we have a player that is capable of replacing him.

Great Post. I am a big RCG fan but his form this year is around 65-75% of his late 2017 (Stellar!) form.

Kikau is our best edge running forward since Frank Pritchard in his prime. Super dangerous even when extra defensive attention is given to him and that just opens up players on either side of him.

RCG’s best form occurred when he played off the bench. I think he has much more impact in that role.
