Cmon Crush ease up... but I am thinking the same
I just can’t get over the past 10 yrs
In the words of the famous George Michael... gotta have FAITH
It’s the standard pattern.
Exactly same this year, just when you think we are in a good spot we lose to a dogs, tigers, Sharks type side, in this weeks case the Warriors.
Then we we will all give up again only for them to beat Manly the week after the bye. Then we will all get excited again only for them to lose the next week to Titans.
It’s the way we roll unfortunately!

No problems beating Manly.

Mate, lockdown with pissing rain and 3 kids on school holidays all whilst trying to "work from home".
Anyway, enough of this negativity, what we thinking with team list Tuesday!?
Only an hour away.
Any big surprises?
I hope Sloan is in the team.

All good champion.

Let's see what surprises the team announcement brings.

St George Illawarra coach Anthony Griffin has named his mandatory 21-man squad ahead of the Dragons' Round 16 clash against the Warriors at Central Coast Stadium on Friday, July 2 (6pm).
Ben Hunt, Andrew McCullough and Tariq Sims have all been named to back up from Sunday's State of Origin clash won by New South Wales.

Matt Dufty (shoulder) returns at fullback at the expense of last start debutant Tyrell Sloan.
Zac Lomax (thumb) remains out of the side while Mikaele Ravalawa's four-game suspension has seen Jack Bird return to the centres and Gerard Beale shift to the wing.
Josh McGuire and Tyrell Fuimaono (both suspension) will make their long-awaited returns. Adam Clune is the odd man out in the 17 and reverts to the extended squad.
In other news, the NSWRL have advised that all Knock On Effect Cup and Jersey Flegg competition matches and training sessions have been cancelled while the current state government health orders are in place.

Fui and DeBelin would make an awesome lock rotation with McGuire in the prop rotation (preferably starting prop with Lawrie on the bench realistically ).
Kerr's strengths are his size out wide, his off-loads ( 18 off-loads - by far the most of any StGI forward - Sims has 3, Vaughan 2 ) and his super quick play the balls and also his scope for improvement. I wasn't a fan of him out wide early in the season but I think it's a good move that we should persist with. He's done alright for a big guy after being thrown into the 2nd row. His error rate is an issue but his defence is improving - he misses less tackles than Sims. He's also handy for bringing down big wide running opposition forwards for instance stopping the likes of Asofa-Solomona, Tamou and Woods in their tracks where those guys usually make big metres out there against smaller men, I think that goes unnoticed by a lot of Dragons supporters. Kerr could become part of a very formidable forward pack with JDB back and the addition of Molo and hopefully TPJ.
Needs to go back, to front row.
