He IS a leader. Love Widdop but this guy single-handedly fired EVERYONE up, which Widdop DIDN'T do. We need a captain like that who puts his hear in EVERYTHING. Aka Thommo.

Millward is an idiot.

He has so much passion and it shows on the field too. ALWAYS looking for the ball on the end of a kick and always running and hitting hard, setting up next tackles. That being said, all our forwards are amazing and run hard, look for the offload. We even have our backs making metres after contact, pumping their legs and it's good to see.

All we need is a competent half next to Widdop to take some pressure off him.

But I was standing in the tunnel as they came out after halftime.
And the spray tommo gave them from the dressing room till the kickoff for the second half, was straight to the point and very passionate.
imo was a big reason why they lifted there game.

Because with mann in the team you can cover the backline .
Also a 4 forward rotation means less minutes for guys like frizz ect.

Generally I like the idea of having a utility on the bench, especially if it's blooding a youngster and who would see say minimum 20 minutes game time, a live wire like a Dufty, Field, Mann. I don't want to see Milne as the 17 and in this case agree with you that we could go a 4th forward on the bench.

With a worst case injury to the backline Thompson or even Frizell can cover centres, or of course JDB to half!
