One of the teams gets to have back-to-back wins for the first time this year (sad really..).

A win for the Eels makes the spoon race interesting. A win for us lets us lick our lips and ponder finals footy.

JD, I'm not dumb. I said it would get us licking our lips and ponder finals footy only!

I'm aware of that. Just saying we need to keep winning to keep the pressure on the top eight.

*edit* Just on our run home, we've got just three games out of 10 against non-top 8 teams. Talk about running the gauntlet.

Even better way to make the 8 then!

No use making if we aren't a chance against those top teams.

We've already had it over the Dogs, Sharks and Tigers now. We're capable.

Thats fine. Means if we are good enough, we will get closer to the 8 by beating a top 8 side whereas beating a side outside the 8 may mean we are no closer.

Need to look on the positive

If we can knock off LOL@5(c)uff$ twice and relegate them to ninff while we take 8th spot it will just about make my century. Too bad I'll be overseas but I'll have a good chuckle when I get home and read the round 26 game day thread.

4 point turnaround. We would get 2, and they wouldnt.

Beating cellar dwellars whilst the teams in the 8 keep winning doesnt add up to ladder movement.

If we are good enough we will be there.

Team not named yet but I'm keen to see who will replace Boyd. Pete and Kev would both be lucky to get a look in on their last performance, and I think Bennett would be very reluctant to give Wes or Sau a shot while he's trying to offload them.

Hopefully Mantellato gets a go just so we can see what he's capable of.

Last I heard mate we had used up al our 2nd tier cap, meaning we can not debut anyone new into FG unless we off load some players

Nope, his second or third.

Glad you noticed though, I don't even think he played 10 minutes until late in the second half.

Would be nice to have a convincing win, but ill take a 1 point win at this stage..

We should win as Hayne is out.

Both Hindmarsh and Sandow had good games last week so they are both done for the season now.

Can't really see where the eels can beat us.

Considering Boyd was our most dominant attacking player last week I am hoping Mullen can really step up from his good game this week.

Anyone been to Parra stadium before? Might be in Sydney this weekend. Can you train it from the city?
