Well here's the thing. Is Samrani a forward or a back >2026 >? Do you also think that Papali'i deserves another chance to secure the 5/8 position for the remainder of the season?
Simrani is a forward in 2025 and 2026 for the reserves.

Papali’i didn’t show much at 5/8 the other night. Was expecting more. He missed his opportunity. I’d like to see him get another go. Didn’t see his running game at all.

I was really surprised he didnt run.

That's how you keep the opposition defense held up in the middle

Considering it was a game against a team running last like us, it was a small sample size masquerading as a new found optimism for Eels supporters. But, I'd like to see Papalii given further opportunities to evolve this season at 5/8.

no back up for Lussick, so maybe Hopgood and/or Walker, or Hands gets drafted in last minute

Or maybe it will still happen for some for all of the game ?
Yes, hopefully a game day change with Brown to centres... given Samrani was absent last weekend (and wouldn't be expected to do 80min NRL in the centres), and when we have Joash coming off a reasonably successful 80mins at five-eighth.
