Good I would love him to run at Reynolds.
And run him at George Burgess as well. George is mad at the moment he might give a way a dumb penalty or get sin binned.

Sam is the same, Get stuck into them both I reckon.

Glad to see Sitaleki get another run though he tends to have similar issues to Kikau at times.

The fact that you are going back to some random rumour from the start of last season to defend what has happened over the first half of this season says it all. We are over halfway through the season and still underperforming. Come September if we are still alive we will be playing against teams that we cannot beat unless something changes drastically between now and then, that is the reality right now, there are no shit teams in the finals for us to beat up on and have everyone talking about our potential and how good we COULD be IF we fixed our issues.

The rumour you posted re Dallin seems possible, but it means nothing in regards to our poor defence for most of the year, terrible completion rates, terrible 5th tackle options, our inability to score against good defences, our lack discipline, our terrible starts for most of the year...the list goes on. You talk about defending Griffin, How do you defend us sitting outside the 8 at this time of the season after having minimal injuries, zero origin players and two byes already?

Huh? Where did I use the rumour to defend him? I just posted something I heard from someone i consider reliable. I didn't have any agenda.

My last comment was in regards to you talking about the people who defend Griffin. All i was saying was that i believe he deserves the right to be judged on the full season, not half of it.

The anti-Griffin crew are a fiery mob.

What is fiery about my comment? Maybe you are sensitive because that's a tame comment from me.

As for judging him on the full season, I find that fairly ridiculous in a results driven business, we literally have a weekly measure of how we are going. If we had lost all our games so far would you not want the coach gone? Or would you be waiting till the end of the year to judge him? I'm not saying he should be sacked but I will judge on his performance and our results, I don't need to wait till the end of the year to know that we aren't playing a winning brand of footy, we have the results already to show us that.

Isn't the over analysing of every result the reason coaches are reluctant to change team line ups or move players to new positions?
It forces them to become conservative in attack and focus on defence.

I have no idea though tbh. I just don't see how a club in our situation should ignore poor performance and results, we aren't in a rebuilding phase or anything like the knights or tigers, we have literally just come through 5 years of that. We should be winning consistently and we are not. The coach is in his second year here and we are over half way through the season, im not calling for him to be sacked im just saying at this point of the season we are well below where even the most conservative people had us, its just a fact unfortunately. We aren't performing and its the coach's job to get us to perform, is there really any argument against that opinion?

We were tipped to win the comp this year, now that may of been a overhyped a bit but we still easily have a top four squad. If you look at the draw and who we are competing with for one of those final top 8 spots it doesn't look good for us. The dragons play the titans this week plus still have the knights and tigers to come. The Eels are four points ahead of us if right now(two if we beat souths) and still have a bye, then next is Nql and I just cant see them coming apart enough for us to catch them though I haven't looked at their run home. I mean we could go on a hot streak like last season and hopefully we do but if that doesn't happen we will miss the 8 this year. Do you really want the club to wait till September before they start planning for 2018? There has to be a plan in place otherwise if we do miss the 8 we are either stuck with a bad coach or scrambling to find someone else late in the year which eats into your preseason.

We will be relying on other teams failing as much as our own teams skill to make the 8 which isn't a great place to be in.
We can still achieve it, our defence the last few matches has really improved, only a few kicks have led to try's.
If it stays strong we will win more than we loose.
Making the 8 will unfortunately gloss over just how bad griffin has organised this team, but I still hope we can do it.

Pretty much exactly how I feel. We can def still do it but we will need another team to f**k up as well as improving our own standard of play. We will be finals fodder though by week 2.
