The crazy thing is we don't stick with what works.

All year we have rarely done it. But it makes an appearance. Usually successfully yet we dont stick with it.

The only play you can count on making an appearance regularly is Cleary kicking it into space and leaving the opposition back 3 arguing over who is going to sacrifice themselves trying to take it.

Otherwise we don't seem to think. Oh shit that worked. Lets exploit it. Until Moylan moved to 6 we didnt ever seem to go for short kicks and since that was when Brandy teamed up with our halves, im sure its his influence.

Yeah it's infuriating. It's why I hope Brandy is there long term. Build some good habits.

Arghhhhh

Please don't take it upon yourself to say who should & shouldn't be a fan. He's entitled to his opinion.

Don't like it? Tackle the opinion.
I'm not saying he shouldn't be a fan, although whether he really is,is debateable. And a true fan doesn't death-ride his side to the point of madness like he does.

That Henry,is my opinion.

Pretty average game outside of Cleary and RCG's mammoth performances. Rabbits game aside though, while we haven't put it together as a team, 7 of our last 8 have seen pretty tough, resilient and patient performances. We had some glaring attitude and fundamental problems for the first third of the season and I think a lot of those have been addresssed which is positive.

Without getting too emotional about Griffin, we obviously have a lot more quality players than we know what to do with. Hopefully they are getting a pretty good idea how they best work together and we start to see a more cohesive game come through over the next month.

Glad we won. I missed the 1st half and somehow I wasn't bothered when the Warriors led 22- 18. I thought we'd get them in the end.

Exactly my thoughts at the time. All we needed was a fair share of the ball.

But some of our mistakes still need to be addressed, although I think during the team tape review,Blake is going to cop some jeers from his team mates when he tried to catch that kick-off.In hindsight, thats the funniest thing I've seen for quite some time.

He has made 7 errors in 9 games.

Slightly different from the 10 in 5 shit you pulled out of your arse. But why actually look up stats before talking shit?

Kikau actually hurt people in defence.
He actually knocked people over when he ran.

Yeah he made errors. But maybe the coach benching him for 70 odd minutes forced him to try too hard to get more minutes. He was more effective when he got more minutes... hes not the only player trying to cram 40 minutes of footy into a bench cameo appearance and making errors.

We have blokes like Kikau and Akauolo who can hurt people both sides of the ball. And rather than focus on getting more out of them, the coach chooses to give more minutes to a bloke who hasnt made a dominant tackle in his life and couldnt bust a tackle running at a 5 year old.

Halves play better behind forwards that bend the line. Get offloads away. Scatter the defence. Draw in more players.

Nathan Cleary runs harder and hits harder than Browne.

Mate, I was clearly taking the piss.

But yes keep blaming Griffin for a players inability to hold onto the ball.

Absolutely nothing wrong with what Browne is doing at the moment.

Are you listening Leilani Latu?

Latu's a funny one. Everyone seems to have a different opinion. I almost think he's being too conservative at the moment. I'd personally be giving him more of a free reign to offload & use his skills.

Our biggest issue this year is our pack isn't going forward. For him to do that we need Tamou and Browne to match RCG.

Both are primarily defensive players, but we do need them to do a bit more of the in-possession pigwork than has hitherto been the case. It seems likely that Latu will find himself in the starting side so the same goes for him. Latu was a beast in the back end of last year, it is time for that form to return.

Kikau actually hurt people in defence.
Seems likely he will be recalled. His potential is not argued, but he has the propensity to make appalling handling errors at the worst possible time. The one against Souths was especially damaging. Maybe he should forget about hurting people and concentrate on his handling. The way you really hurt oppositions is by making metres, getting quick play the balls and getting good passes away, ie doing the basics correctly.
