I AM NOT HAPPY. He is also way down on game awareness, specially with his reading in defense.. abysmal. Every time he leaves his wing to attempt a hit he opens a huge hole for the opposition centre or winger to stroll into, usually leading to points we cant afford. I wince when I see it, am dumbfounded why our useless selectors have not acted on this major flaw in his game and booted him.
Those two aren't but Sione Finau is, and is sneaking up on Feagai as has been named first reserve this round. This guy not only has pace to burn but is skillful too. Two attributes Feagai sadly lacks.

Without Sloans silky attacking skills, we'd have been cellar dwellars far sooner. Turner is not first grade material, may be bigger than Sloan but has nowhere near his skillset. There are parts of Sloans game where he is still a work in progress, but dumping him back to Ressies wont help that progress..
Sully needs a big one as Amones master class last week surely has him an almost cert to grab back his 5/8 spot.

What about the continued selection of this 118K log. He may have been a decent edgie once, when he played for Tonga, these days he hides in and clogs our back line. At best he should be a bench prop. Read his abysmal 15 game season stats, average RM 60, 2 LB, 5 OL PCM mediocre. Affective defense is acceptable but lazy, making 200 less tackles than Jack de Belin.. and both play the same minutes.
I have gone off him, seems to be following the same selection blueprint as Griffin. What has us hamstrung is our poor recruitments have to be picked as all are in our Top 30 while more talented players have missed the cut so are not eligible.
How about the asylum list. Wherever he is, stay there.

You jest. Not in the same street.. reason he has been stuck in Ressies since he arrived. Has been swapping between f/b and halves, as not been able to nail down either position.
He must be, a late inclusion, perhaps for Kerr or did Ryan Couchman take his place. Have they dumped Bird for Russell? One a poor defender the other a good'n. Said as much after watching him in the pre season. We sure as hell need to add some more umph to our middle defense, to help out Jack, Block and Liddle.

Who exactly of our two assistants is defense coach. Is his job to rectify the problem, if he cant then show him the door. This disease is in both grades too. We fans have the answer, sack him, but unfortunately we dont pick the players.
In my opinion, If we can limit our errors and penalties in the first 10 minutes of the game, and actually show some passion, then we should only lose by 40 instead of 50. But that’s just my opinion
